SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
In view of the above, it is desirable to provide a battery upper protective plate capable of increasing a component placement area based on an original size and a battery pack having the same.

First embodiment
Fig. 1 and 2 show the front and back sides of the battery protection plate 100 in a developed condition, and in the first embodiment, the battery protection plate 100 includes a circuit board 10 and a first reinforcing plate 20. The circuit board 10 is preferably a flexible circuit board, and the first reinforcing plate 20 is fixedly disposed on the circuit board 10 and used for supporting the circuit board 10. The circuit board 10 covers one side surface of the first reinforcing plate 20, and a side of the circuit board 10 facing away from the first reinforcing plate 20 is a first component placement area 40. The conductive layer in the circuit board 10 extends outward to form a cell connecting portion 30, and the cell connecting portion 30 extends outward from the side edge of the first component placing region 40 for connecting a cell terminal.
Referring to fig. 11, the circuit board 10 includes a conductive layer and an insulating layer 103, and the conductive layer includes a substrate 101 and a metal layer 102. A metal layer 102 is disposed on each of the upper and lower sides of the substrate 101, and an insulating layer 103 is disposed on the outer side of each metal layer 102 for protecting the metal layer 102 and preventing oxidation. In the embodiment of the present application, the substrate 101 is a non-conductive material, such as a polyimide film material, and the metal layer 102 is preferably a copper foil. It is understood that, in other embodiments, the circuit board 10 may also be a PCB board or a rigid-flex board, and the metal layer may also be made of other metal materials.
Specifically, the conductive layer includes a circuit connection portion and a battery core connection portion 30, the circuit connection portion is used for connecting an electronic component, the insulating layer 103 is attached to the metal layer of the circuit connection portion, and the battery core connection portion 30 exposes the insulating layer 103, that is, the battery core connection portion 30 exposes the circuit board 10. Referring to fig. 3, the cell connecting portion 30 is bent toward the first reinforcing plate 20 and attached to a side of the first reinforcing plate 20 away from the circuit board, so as to prevent the cell connecting portion 30 from occupying a component placement area, and an area of the first component placement area 40 is substantially the same as an area of the first reinforcing plate 20. On the premise of not changing the original length and width of the battery protection board, the area of the placement area of the components can be maximized. A bending area 31 is arranged between the circuit connecting portion and the cell connecting portion 30, and the cell connecting portion 30 is bent towards the first reinforcing plate 20 along the bending area 31 and attached to the back of the first reinforcing plate 20. The bending region 31 may be formed in a mesh shape, and is configured to improve the bending performance of the battery cell connecting portion 30, so that the battery cell connecting portion 30 may be bent many times and is not likely to rebound after being bent.
In the first embodiment, the number of the cell connecting portions 30 is two. The two battery cell connecting portions 30 are arranged at intervals and extend out from the same side of the circuit board 10, and are respectively used for connecting a positive electrode tab and a negative electrode tab of a battery assembly. It is understood that, in other embodiments, the two cell connection portions 30 may extend from different sides of the circuit board 10, which is not limited in this application.
Further, the first reinforcing plate 20 may be a metal plate or a fiber plate, and when the first reinforcing plate 20 is a metal plate, such as a steel plate, the battery protection plate 100 further includes an insulating member interposed between the cell connecting portion 30 and the first reinforcing plate 20. The insulating member may be made of foam, double-sided tape, insulating adhesive, insulating film, or the like, and in an optional embodiment, the insulating member may be bonded between the cell connecting portion 30 and the first reinforcing plate 20, so that the cell connecting portion 30 is fixed on the first reinforcing plate 20.
Further, the battery protection board 100 further includes an electrical connector 50 for connecting an external circuit. The electrical connector 50 is disposed at an end of the circuit board 10 away from the first component placement area 40. In other embodiments, the electrical connectors 50 may be gold fingers disposed on the ends of the circuit board 10.
Further, a metal protection layer is disposed on the surface of the battery cell connecting portion 30, and is used for preventing the metal layer 102 on the battery cell connecting portion 30 from being oxidized or damaged. Specifically, the metal protection layer is formed on the surface of the metal layer 102 by electroplating, and the material that can be selected as the metal protection layer includes a metal material that is not easily oxidized, such as gold and nickel.
In the embodiment of the present application, the circuit board 10 includes two metal layers, and in other alternative embodiments, the number of the metal layers may be more than two, and the metal layers are arranged according to actual needs, and the present application is not limited thereto.
It is understood that, in another alternative embodiment, the first reinforcing plate 20 may be omitted from the battery protection board 100, the circuit board 10 may be supported by an external structure, and a portion of the insulating layer 103 may be removed from a side of the circuit board 10 away from the first component placement region 40, so that a portion of the conductive layer is exposed on the surface of the circuit board 10, where the exposed portion of the conductive layer is the cell connecting portion 30. Further, on the side of the circuit board 10 away from the first component placement region 40, a component may be provided in a region other than the core connection portion 30, which becomes a second component placement region.
Second embodiment
Referring to fig. 4 and 5, in the second embodiment, a battery protection plate 200 is substantially the same as the battery protection plate 100 of the first embodiment, and the battery protection plate 200 includes a circuit board 10 and a first reinforcing plate 20. The circuit board 10 is preferably a flexible circuit board, and the first reinforcing plate 20 is fixedly disposed on the circuit board 10 and used for supporting the circuit board 10. The circuit board 10 covers one side surface of the first reinforcing plate 20, and a side of the circuit board 10 facing away from the first reinforcing plate 20 is a first component placement area 40. The conductive layer in the circuit board 10 extends outward to form a cell connecting portion 30, and the cell connecting portion 30 extends outward from the side edge of the first component placing region 40 for connecting a cell terminal. Further, the circuit board 10 includes a first mounting portion 11 and a second mounting portion 12. The first installation part 11 covers one side surface of the first reinforcing plate 20, the other side surface of the first installation part 11 is the first component placement area 40, and the second installation part 12 is arranged on the side edge of the first installation part 11. The two battery cell connecting portions 30 are respectively disposed at two ends of the first mounting portion 11.
Specifically, fig. 4 and 5 show schematic structural views of the front and back sides of the battery protection plate 200. The circuit board 10 is approximately T-shaped, the first installation part 11 is approximately horizontally arranged, the second installation part 12 is approximately vertically arranged in the middle of the side edge of the first installation part 11, and the electric connector 50 is arranged at one end, far away from the first installation part 11, of the second installation part 12. In the second embodiment, the area of the first reinforcing plate 20 is substantially the same as that of the first mounting portion 11, and the metal layer of the circuit board 10 extends outward from both ends of the first mounting portion 11 to form two cell connecting portions 30. Both the cell connecting portions 30 are bent toward the first reinforcing plate 20 in a manner similar to that of the first embodiment.
Third embodiment
Referring to fig. 6, a battery protection plate 300 of the third embodiment is substantially the same as the battery protection plate 100 of the first embodiment, except that the battery protection plate 300 includes four cell connection parts 30. The four battery cell connecting portions 30 are disposed at intervals on the same side of the circuit board 10, and may be used to connect two battery cells in series or in parallel. The series and parallel connection condition of the battery cells depends on the specific circuit in the circuit board 10, and can be selected according to the actual production requirement. It is understood that, in other embodiments, more cell connection portions 30 may be disposed on the circuit board 10, so that a plurality of battery cells are connected to the same circuit board. The plurality of cell connecting portions 30 are bent towards the first reinforcing plate 20, so that the cell connecting portions are attached to one side, away from the circuit board, of the first reinforcing plate 20, and the first component placing area 40 is prevented from being occupied.
Referring further to fig. 7, in an expanded embodiment, four cell connection portions 30 may be disposed on different sides of the circuit board 10, so as to reasonably arrange the positions of a plurality of battery cells.
Fourth embodiment
Referring to fig. 8 and 9, in a fourth embodiment, a battery protection plate 400 is substantially the same as the battery protection plate 100 of the first embodiment, and the battery protection plate 400 includes a circuit board 10 and a first reinforcing plate 20. The circuit board 10 is preferably a flexible circuit board, and the first reinforcing plate 20 is fixedly disposed on the circuit board 10 and used for supporting the circuit board 10. The circuit board 10 covers one side surface of the first reinforcing plate 20, and a side of the circuit board 10 facing away from the first reinforcing plate 20 is a first component placement area 40. The conductive layer in the circuit board 10 extends outward to form a cell connecting portion 30, and the cell connecting portion 30 extends outward from the side edge of the first component placing region 40 for connecting a cell terminal. Further, the battery protection plate 400 further includes a second reinforcing plate 60, and the second reinforcing plate 60 is stacked on the first reinforcing plate 20. The circuit board 10 extends toward the second reinforcing plate 60 and covers the second reinforcing plate 60. The cell connecting portion 30 is located on the second reinforcing plate 60, so that the first component placing region 40 and the cell connecting portion 30 are located on different sides of the first reinforcing plate 20. The side of the circuit board 10 facing away from the second stiffener 60 is a second component placement area 70.
Specifically, the first reinforcing plate 20 and the second reinforcing plate 60 may be first placed in parallel, and one end of the circuit board 10 covers the surfaces of the first reinforcing plate 20 and the second reinforcing plate 60 at the same time. In the fourth embodiment, the cell connecting portion 30 is formed of a conductive layer exposed on the circuit board 10 covering the second reinforcing plate 60. Specifically, the metal layer 102 on one side of the conductive layer may be partially exposed out of the circuit board 10 by removing a part of the insulating layer 103, and the like, and the metal layer 102 in the exposed area is used for connecting the battery cell. The size of the first reinforcing plate 20 is substantially the same as that of the second reinforcing plate 60, and the second reinforcing plate 60 is folded toward the first reinforcing plate 20, so that the cell connecting portion 30 and the second component placing region 70 are rotated together with the second reinforcing plate 60 to the side of the first reinforcing plate 20 departing from the circuit board 10, the original width of the battery protection plate 400 is restored, and the overall placing region of the components is enlarged.
Further, in the fourth embodiment, the lower insulating layer 103 of the circuit board 10 may be used as an insulating member between the cell connecting portion 30 and the second reinforcing plate 60, and interposed between the cell connecting portion 30 and the second reinforcing plate 60.
In another embodiment, the circuit board 10 may further extend toward the other side surface of the first reinforcing plate 20 and cover the first reinforcing plate 20 to form a second component placement region 70, and the cell connecting part 30 is located in the second component placement region 70. Fifth embodiment
Referring to fig. 10, a fifth embodiment of the present application provides a battery assembly 80, where the battery assembly 80 includes a battery cell 81, a tab 82 and the battery protection plate in any of the above embodiments, the tab 82 is a connection terminal of the battery cell 81, and extends out from one side of the battery cell 81, and the tab 82 is connected to the cell connection portion 30 of the battery protection plate, so as to implement connection between the battery protection plate and the battery cell 81. The tab 82 and the battery core connecting portion 30 are connected by welding, and the welding mode may be hot-press welding or laser welding. It can be understood that, in other embodiments, the battery cell connecting portion 30 and the tab 82 may also be connected in other manners, so as to ensure the fixation and the electrical conduction of the battery cell connecting portion and the tab, and the connection manner is not limited in this application.

1. A battery protection plate comprising:
a circuit board comprising a conductive layer and an insulating layer, the conductive layer comprising a substrate and a metal layer;
the metal layers are arranged on two sides of the substrate, and the insulating layers are arranged on the metal layers;
at least one side surface of the circuit board is provided with a first component placing area;
the battery is characterized in that the conducting layer comprises a circuit connecting portion and a battery core connecting portion, the circuit connecting portion is used for connecting an electronic component, the insulating layer is attached to the circuit connecting portion, the battery core connecting portion is used for connecting a battery core terminal, and the battery core connecting portion is exposed out of the circuit board and extends outwards from the side edge of the first component placing area.

The battery protection board according to claim 1, wherein the circuit board is a flexible circuit board, the battery protection board includes a first stiffener disposed on the circuit board for supporting the circuit board, a side of the circuit board facing away from the first stiffener is the first component placement area, and the cell connecting portion is located on a side of the first stiffener facing away from the circuit board.

The battery protection board according to claim 2, wherein a bending region is provided between the circuit connection portion and the cell connection portion, and the cell connection portion is bent along the bending region toward a side of the first reinforcing board away from the circuit board.
4. The battery protection plate as claimed in claim 2, further comprising an insulating member interposed between the cell connecting portion and the first reinforcing plate.
5. The battery protection plate as claimed in claim 1, wherein the number of the cell connecting portions is two, and the cell connecting portions are spaced apart from each other at the side of the circuit board.
6. The battery protection plate as claimed in claim 4, wherein a metal protection layer is disposed on a surface of the cell connecting portion for preventing oxidation or damage of the metal layer on the cell connecting portion.

The battery protection board according to claim 1, wherein the circuit board is a flexible circuit board, the battery protection board includes a first stiffener, the first stiffener is disposed on the circuit board to support the circuit board, the circuit board includes a first mounting portion and a second mounting portion, the first mounting portion covers a side surface of the first stiffener, another side surface of the first mounting portion is the first component placement area, the second mounting portion is disposed at a side edge of the first mounting portion, and two of the battery cell connecting portions are disposed at two ends of the first mounting portion, respectively.

The battery protection board according to claim 2, further comprising a second reinforcing plate, wherein the second reinforcing plate is stacked on a side of the first reinforcing plate away from the circuit board, the circuit board extends toward and covers the second reinforcing plate, the cell connecting portion is located on the second reinforcing plate, and a side of the circuit board away from the second reinforcing plate is a second component placement region.

The battery protection panel according to claim 2, wherein the circuit board extends toward the other side surface of the first reinforcing plate and covers the first reinforcing plate to form a second component placement region, and the cell connection part is located in the second component placement region.

A battery assembly comprises an electric core and a tab, wherein the tab extends out of one side of the electric core, the battery assembly is characterized by further comprising the battery protection board as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 9, and the tab is connected with the electric core connecting part of the battery protection board.
