Abstract
A bag-in-box container (1) for beverages and/or other fluids is provided, comprising at least two different fluid containing bags (3) arranged in a single box (2), wherein a dispensing tap (4) for each fluid containing bag (3) is arranged outside the box (2).
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a bag-in-box container for beverages and/or other fluids.
Background
Beverages, such as wine and milk, are often sold in so-called bag-in-box containers, wherein the fluid is held in a bag mounted in an outer box. The bag may be made of, for example, plastic and the box may be made of, for example, cardboard, but other materials are also used.
EP1932800 describes a bag-in-box for wine which can be located in a suitable level above a table top to allow a wine glass to be moved under a tap valve for filling. WO07123446 and WO08100199 each describe a bag-in-box for wine or other fluids having a device capable of reading the remaining content.
Problems of the prior art
Common bag-in-box bags are very large and if it is desired to provide more than one liquid, for example both red and white wine, there will be a large amount of wine because several boxes are required. This is often more wine than is needed for one occasion and several boxes are also heavy to carry around, e.g. to a picnic. There is therefore a need for an improved bag-in-box container.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
One of the objects of the present invention is to solve the above problems. This is achieved by a bag-in-box container for beverages and/or other fluids comprising at least two different fluid containing bags arranged in a single box, wherein a dispensing tap for each fluid containing bag is arranged outside the box.
In an embodiment, different fluid-containing pouches contain different fluids.
In an embodiment, different fluid containing pouches have different dimensions.
In an embodiment, the fluid is a beverage.
In an embodiment, the bag-in-box container comprises two fluid containing bags and two dispensing taps.
In an embodiment, the bag-in-box container comprises two fluid containing bags and two dispensing taps, and the fluids are red wine and white wine.
In an embodiment, the bag-in-box container comprises two fluid containing bags and two dispensing taps, and the fluids are beverages for mixing, e.g., gin and tonic.
In an embodiment, the bag-in-box container comprises two fluid containing bags and two dispensing taps, and the fluids are olive oil and vinegar.
In an embodiment, the fluid-containing bags are made of plastic, so that they are, for example, plastic bladders.
In an embodiment, the box is made of cardboard or corrugated fiber.
In an embodiment, the dispensing taps are arranged on the same side of the cartridge.
In an embodiment, the dispensing taps are arranged on different sides of the box.
In an embodiment, the dispensing tap is arranged on the opposite side of the box.
Drawings

fig. 2 shows a back side of a bag-in-box container according to one or more embodiments of the present invention.
Detailed Description
Bag-in-box containers are used for many different types of fluids, in particular for different types of beverages, such as wine or milk. However, the bag-in-box container may also be used for other fluids, such as olive oil and/or vinegar. Although a bag-in-box container is very practical because it is easy to carry around, it is sometimes considered to contain too much fluid-in the case of wine, the fluid may even deteriorate before the entire box is emptied.
Further, if you carry a bag-in-box, such as a picnic, you are limited to a single wine. If you want a choice you have to take more boxes, which is heavy, cumbersome to carry and also more wine than you need. The wine bottle has the advantage that you can choose, but it is heavy and cumbersome to carry.
Accordingly, the present invention provides a bag-in-box container for beverages and/or other fluids, comprising at least two different fluid containing bags contained in a single box, wherein a dispensing tap for each fluid containing bag is arranged outside the box.
Fig. 1 shows the front of a bag-in-box container 1 according to one or more embodiments of the present invention. The bag-in-box container 1 shown in fig. 1 comprises two fluid-containing bags 3 arranged inside a box 2, with two dispensing taps 4 on the outside of the box 2. The bag-in-box container 1 may for example be used for two different beverages that you need at the same time, e.g. red wine and white wine, or for beverages to be mixed, e.g. gin and rum or rum and cola. The bag-in-box container 1 can also be used for other fluids that you might need at the same time, such as olive oil and vinegar.
The fluid containing bags 3 may have different sizes. This may be useful if a greater amount of one fluid than another is typically required, such as gin and tonics.
In the bag-in-box container 1 shown in fig. 1, the dispensing taps 4 are arranged on the same side of the box 2, but they may also be arranged on different sides of the box 2, for example on opposite sides of the box 2.
The fluid-containing pouch 3 may be, for example, a plastic bladder, and the box 2 may be, for example, made of cardboard or corrugated fiber. However, other materials may be used.
The bag in box container 1 preferably has a handle 5 to make it easier to carry. The handle 5 may be made of the same material and integrated into the case 2 so that it can be folded up. However, the handle 5 may also be made of other materials than the cartridge 2, for example of plastic.
Fig. 2 shows the back of a bag-in-box container 1 according to one or more embodiments of the present invention. The foregoing summary is not intended to limit the invention to the precise form or particular field of use of the invention. The bag-in-box container 1 shown in the figures comprises two fluid-containing bags 3, but the bag-in-box container 1 may comprise any number of two fluid-containing bags 3, for example three or more.
It is contemplated that various alternative embodiments and/or modifications of the invention, whether explicitly described or implied herein, are possible in accordance with the invention.
