(2) Experimental data and results
2.1 test and comparative analysis of Brightness, fire and flicker
This test analyzes the brilliance, fire and scintillation of the diamonds of the above examples and comparative examples under the following test conditions: 1. cutting grades are all above Very Good, 2, the specifications of the diamonds are all within the range of 0.50-0.59ct, and 3, test environments are all the same light source and the same detection instrument; wherein the brilliance, firestain and scintillation of the diamond of comparative example 1 are far less than those of examples 1 and 2 in this application, and each index is at least about 10-15% lower than those of examples 1 and 2, and will not be described in detail.
In order to better compare the brightness, fire and scintillation of the diamonds in the application and the diamonds not in the application, the application focuses on the test comparison analysis of example 1 and comparative example 1 with similar cutting parameters; the measurement results are detailed in table 2:
table 2: brightness, fire and flicker contrast
Detecting items | Example 1 | Comparative example 1 |
Brightness of light | 68.17 | 59.32 |
Fire colour | 80.12 | 67.32 |
Degree of scintillation | 179.59 | 156.16 |
As can be seen from Table 2, the brilliance, sparkle and scintillation of each diamond were essentially in the "very high" range; but the brightness, fire and flicker of comparative example 1 were respectively lower than that of example 1 by about 10% or more. It can be seen that the diamonds of the present application have significant advantages in brightness, sparkle and scintillation.
The applicant believes that the above causes are mainly due to the fact that the diamond is made of a substance which has strong light transmission and reflection functions, and therefore the principles of light reflection, refraction, transmission and the like in the diamond are quite complex; the fine adjustment of cutting parameters such as side length, angle and the like can cause the brightness, fire and flicker of the diamond to change greatly; it is difficult to control the range of adjustment.
In addition, the pavilion portion of this application adopts the setting of apex face, and the angle of strict control apex face for the face synergism of apex face and pavilion portion's face, crown makes light carry out fine reflection, refraction, transmission inside the diamond, has reduced the light of revealing, thereby reaches better luminance, firelight and scintillation.
In addition, ten rhombic facets extend from the bottom tip of the pavilion, regularly surround the bottom tip, and when seen from the table top, ten arrows in standard arrangement can be seen, and the pattern consisting of the ten rhombic facets at the bottom tip is improved, so that the value of the jewel is improved. Due to the reasonable arrangement of the surface and the angle thereof, a better pattern effect is presented.
