The dishwasher of claim 3, wherein the tray slot has a first slot edge abutting the open side of the tray and a second slot edge abutting the edge of the tray, the support post being located on the first slot edge and the clamping post being located on the second slot edge, the first slot edge being continuous with the second slot edge.
5. The dishwasher of claim 1, wherein the carrier is provided with a plurality of the dish slots arranged in parallel.
6. A dishwasher according to claim 5, wherein a plurality of the trays form a spoon holding area, the carrier further having a post thereon for abutting the spoon.
7. The dishwasher of claim 6, wherein the support post comprises a first retaining post and a second retaining post, the first retaining post and the second retaining post cooperatively retaining the head of the soup ladle.
8. The dishwasher of any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the carrier comprises a basket and a tray assembly located above the basket, the tray assembly having a first storage area for receiving elongated dishes and a second storage area for receiving dishes or spoons, the second storage area having a depth greater than the depth of the first storage area.
9. The dishwasher of claim 8 wherein a third storage area for receiving a spoon is provided between the first storage area and the second storage area, the third storage area having a depth greater than the depth of the first storage area and less than the depth of the second storage area.
10. The dishwasher of claim 9, wherein the bottom of the third storage area is provided with longitudinal ribs and transverse ribs which are staggered with each other, the transverse ribs comprise first transverse ribs and second transverse ribs which are arranged at intervals, one end of each first transverse rib close to the second storage area protrudes towards the second storage area relative to one end of each second transverse rib close to the second storage area, and the second transverse ribs are connected with the joints of the adjacent groove edges of the material dish grooves.
