In another embodiment, as shown in FIG. 7, at least one rib 48 may be disposed within the opening 46. in this embodiment, one rib 48 is disposed within the opening 46 to provide structural strength to the attachment mounting device 10. In some embodiments, it is also possible to add a first locking mechanism to the second side 12b of the accessory mounting device 10 in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, i.e., three locking mechanisms are provided, which are not shown. The additional first locking mechanism is provided at the second end 16 and a ramp may be provided on the head of the first locking pin 22 of at least one of the first locking mechanisms.

Claims (11)

1. An accessory mounting device for mounting an accessory device to a main body device, the accessory mounting device comprising a body and first and second latch mechanisms mounted on the body, the body having a first face for securing to the main body device and a second face opposite the first face for supporting the accessory device, the body having opposite first and second ends in a length direction, characterized in that the first latch mechanism is disposed at the first end and the second latch mechanism is disposed at the second end, the first latch mechanism comprises a first head portion protruding from the second face of the body, the second latch mechanism comprises a second head portion protruding from a third face of the body, the first and second head portions together defining a range of movement of the accessory device on the body, the third face is connected between the first face and the second face, and at least one of the first head and the second head can be contracted in the body.
2. The accessory mounting apparatus of claim 1, wherein at least one of the first head portion of the first latch mechanism and the second head portion of the second latch mechanism includes a ramp surface, the accessory device presses the ramp surface to retract the first head portion or the second head portion within the body, and the ramp surface faces in a direction opposite to a mounting direction of the accessory device.
3. The accessory mounting apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the opposite lateral sides of the body are respectively projected outward to form slide rails so that the accessory mounting apparatus can be slidably mounted on the opposite lateral sides of the body in a length direction of the accessory mounting apparatus, the first locking mechanism is mounted in a thickness direction of the body, and the second locking mechanism is mounted in a width direction of the body.

The attachment mounting device of claim 3 wherein the first head of the first locking mechanism is retractably disposed proud of the second face of the body, the first end is provided with a first through hole penetrating through the thickness direction of the body, the first locking mechanism is arranged in the first through hole, the first locking mechanism comprises a first lock pin, a first elastic piece and a first fixing piece, the first head part of the first locking mechanism is the first lock pin, the first fixing piece is fixed at the bottom position in the first through hole, the first lock pin is arranged at the top position in the first through hole, the first elastic piece is arranged between the first fixing piece and the first lock pin, the first lock pin is located at a protruding position when the first lock pin protrudes out of the second surface of the body, the first lock pin is located in a retracted position when the first lock pin is retracted within the first through hole.
5. The accessory mounting apparatus of claim 4, wherein an end of the first lock pin adjacent the first fastener has an enlarged first stop, the first through hole having a first step therein, the first stop abutting the first step when the first lock pin is in the protruding position.
6. The attachment mounting device of claim 3 wherein the second head portion of the second latch mechanism is retractably disposed proud of the third face of the body, the second end is provided with a second through hole penetrating the width direction of the body, the second locking mechanism is arranged in the second through hole, the second locking mechanism comprises a second lock pin, a second elastic piece and a second fixing piece, the second head part of the second locking mechanism is the second lock pin, the second fixing piece is fixed at one end position in the second through hole, the second lock pin is arranged at the other end position in the second through hole, the second elastic piece is arranged between the second fixing piece and the second lock pin, when the second lock pin protrudes out of the third surface of the slide rail, the second lock pin is positioned at a protruding position, the second lock pin is in a retracted position when retracted within the second through hole.
7. The attachment mounting device of claim 6 wherein an end of the second detent proximate the second retainer member has an enlarged second stop, the second through-hole having a second step therein, the second stop abutting the second step when the second detent is in the projecting position.
8. The attachment mounting device of claim 1, wherein the first head of the first locking mechanism is retractably disposed proud of the second face of the body; or the second head part of the second locking mechanism is arranged on the third surface of the body in a retractable and protruding manner; or the first head part of the first locking mechanism is retractably and convexly arranged on the second surface of the body, and the second head part of the second locking mechanism is retractably and convexly arranged on the third surface of the body.
9. The accessory mounting device of claim 1, wherein the second face of the body defines a mounting slot along a length thereof, a bottom of the mounting slot defining an opening therethrough, the accessory mounting device including at least one securing element for securing the accessory mounting device relative to the main body apparatus via the mounting slot and the opening.
10. The attachment mounting device of claim 9, wherein at least one rib is disposed within the opening.
11. An accessory mounting device for mounting an accessory device to a main body device, the accessory mounting device comprising a body and first and second latch mechanisms mounted on the body, the body having a first face for securing to the main body device and a second face opposite the first face for supporting the accessory device, the body having opposite first and second ends in a length direction, characterized in that the first latch mechanism is disposed at the first end and the second latch mechanism is disposed at the second end, the first latch mechanism comprises a first head portion disposed to project from the second face of the body, the second latch mechanism comprises a second head portion disposed to project from the second face of the body, the first and second head portions together defining a range of movement of the accessory device on the body, at least one of the first head and the second head is retractable within the body, and at least one of the first head and the second head is provided with a bevel configured for being pressed by the accessory device such that the first head or the second head provided with the bevel is retracted within the body.
