Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to vehicle locks. The vehicle lock according to the embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a substrate (101); a lock ring (107) configured to control opening and locking of the vehicle lock; a guide groove formed on the base plate (101) and configured such that the lock ring (107) can slide therein to open or lock the vehicle lock; and holes formed in opposite end portions of the guide grooves and configured to penetrate the base plate (101) to discharge any fluid located in the opposite end portions out of the vehicle lock. The vehicle lock disclosed by the embodiment of the disclosure can discharge the fluid flowing through or accumulated in the vehicle lock, so that at least the occurrence of corrosion is prevented, and the service life of the vehicle lock is prolonged.

Description

Vehicle lock
Technical Field
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a vehicle lock for a bicycle.
Background
The popularity of the vehicles sharing the bicycle is higher and higher, and the bicycle with a large number is supplied to the market, so that the public can conveniently go out. Because of the large number of supplied single vehicles, maintenance of each single vehicle during use is a problem that must be taken into account.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an improved vehicle lock for a bicycle that has an extended service life.
The provided vehicle lock may include: a substrate; a lock ring configured to control opening and locking of the vehicle lock; a guide groove formed on the base plate and configured such that the lock ring can slide therein to open or lock the vehicle lock; and holes formed in opposite end portions of the guide grooves and configured to penetrate the base plate to discharge any fluid located in the opposite end portions out of the vehicle lock.
In some embodiments, at least one pair of the holes is formed in each of the opposite end portions of the guide groove.
In some embodiments, each of a pair of the holes is formed in an end portion of a corresponding one of the guide grooves.
Further features of the present disclosure will become apparent from the following description of exemplary embodiments with reference to the attached drawings. It should be understood that this summary is not intended to identify key or critical features of the embodiments of the disclosure, nor is it intended to be used to limit the scope of the disclosure. Other features of the present disclosure will become apparent from the following description.
Drawings
The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present disclosure will become more apparent by describing in more detail exemplary embodiments thereof with reference to the attached drawings, in which like reference numerals generally represent like parts throughout the exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure.
FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of an exemplary vehicle lock according to an embodiment of the present disclosure;
FIG. 2 illustrates a front view of an exemplary vehicle lock with the lock ring omitted from view, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure;
FIG. 3 illustrates a rear view of the vehicle lock in the embodiment of FIG. 2; and
figure 4 shows a perspective view of the vehicle lock in the embodiment of figure 2.
Detailed Description
The present disclosure will now be described with reference to several example embodiments. It should be understood that these examples are described only for the purpose of enabling those skilled in the art to better understand and thereby enable the present disclosure, and are not intended to set forth any limitations on the scope of the technical solutions of the present disclosure.
At present, in the using process of a shared bicycle, certain cost is needed for maintaining a bicycle lock. If the cost of maintenance for each bicycle lock could be reduced, it would be advantageous to reduce the overall cost of the expense, thereby achieving the desired cost-effectiveness.
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally provide a vehicle lock with an extended service life. The vehicle lock can timely drain any fluid (rain, water left in washing vehicles, and the like) left in the vehicle lock, such as a base plate, so that the problem of corrosion caused by the fluid is effectively avoided. Thus, the service life of the lock is extended, reducing the cost required to maintain the lock.
Note that in this description, it is possible to use "bicycle" as a specific example. The scope of the present disclosure is not so limited and any vehicle capable of employing the latch described herein is intended to be within the scope of the present disclosure.
A conventional lock 100 for a bicycle is shown in fig. 1. The lock mainly includes: a bottom plate or substrate 101, a lock ring 107, a spring 108 coupled to the lock ring, and a guide groove formed on the substrate 101. The guide slot provides a guide in which the lock ring 106 slides. By the displacement of the lock ring 106, the opening and locking of the vehicle lock can be achieved.
Holes 105, 106 are formed in the end portions of the guide grooves. Fig. 1 and 2 are front and back views, respectively, of a vehicle lock 100 shown in an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. It can thus be seen that the holes 105, 106 are through holes that penetrate the substrate 101. The design of the "through-hole" ensures that any fluid (e.g. rain) that may accumulate in the end portion is drained out of the vehicle lock, effectively preventing corrosion.
In some embodiments, the guide slot comprises two parallel arranged slots 103, 104. The guide grooves 103, 104 are separated by a guide convex wall 102. For example, guide slots 103, 104 and guide ledge 102 cooperate to provide a sliding track for lock ring 106.
In these embodiments, one hole 105 is formed in the end portion of each guide groove 103, 104. As shown in the figures, the diameter of the hole 105 may be approximately equal to the width of the guide slots 103, 104. This design maximizes the space for the discharge fluid.
Also visible in fig. 1 and 2 is a pair of holes 106 of slightly smaller diameter, which is another example of a "through hole" for the discharge of fluid as disclosed in embodiments of the present disclosure. In this embodiment, the holes 106 are spaced a distance from the holes 105.
Although the diameter of the hole 106 is shown to be smaller than the diameter of the hole 105, this is merely exemplary. Based on the general concept of the disclosed embodiments, the location, diameter, number, etc. of the apertures 105, 106 can be configured to maximize the utility of draining fluid accumulated within the vehicle lock.
In other words, the location, diameter, number, etc. of the apertures 105, 106 may be adapted for different models of vehicle locks, and are not limited to the specific forms shown in the figures and described in the embodiments of the present disclosure.
It is to be understood that the above detailed embodiments of the disclosure are merely illustrative of or explaining the principles of the disclosure and are not limiting of the disclosure. Therefore, any modification, equivalent replacement, or improvement made within the spirit and principle of the present invention should be included in the protection scope of the present invention. Also, it is intended that the following claims cover all such changes and modifications that fall within the scope and boundaries of the claims or the equivalents of the scope and boundaries.
