Detailed Description
In order to make the technical solutions of the present invention better understood by those skilled in the art, the following description will be made in conjunction with the accompanying schematic drawings in the exemplary embodiments of the present invention. It is to be understood that the described embodiments are exemplary only and not limiting. Based on the embodiments disclosed in the present disclosure, other embodiments conceived by those skilled in the art should belong to the scope of the present disclosure.
Fig. 1 shows a protective face screen for pharyngeal swab collection of a first exemplary embodiment of the present invention. The protective panel may include a sheet-like transparent panel body 100 and a handle 200 coupled to the panel body. When the protective face screen for throat swab collection is used, the handle is held by a collected object or a throat swab collection operator, and the face screen main body is placed between the throat swab collection operator and the face of the collected object (patient), so that spray or aerosol from the patient is blocked. The face screen main part can be provided with antifog coating on the one side towards the patient to avoid forming the aerial fog owing to pressing close to patient and leading to patient's oronasal spun breathing gas on the face screen main part, hinder and gather operating personnel's accurate operation.
The protective face screen 100 may have various shapes such as a rectangle, a square, an ellipse, a circle, a polygon, etc., as long as the shape and area thereof are enough to block at least the mouth and nose of the patient's face. In one example, the protective face screen is substantially rectangular with edges that are sanded, hemmed, or otherwise protected from cuts. The protection face screen can be arc-shaped curved (for example, the patient is located inside the arc surface) along the transverse direction (the left and right directions of the attached drawing 1) of the protection face screen, so that the protection face screen is more attached to the face of the patient, and a better protection effect is achieved. Alternatively, the protective face screen may be made of a flexible material, suitably bendable at least in the lateral direction. For example, the protective panel may be folded toward the center at both lateral ends. In one example, folding indentations are pre-set in the protective face screen so that the user can fold it easily.
In one illustrative example, a convex lens may be provided on at least a portion of the mask body to facilitate viewing of the patient's pharynx by the acquisition operator during acquisition. For example, the convex lens may be a planar fresnel lens.
In some examples, the handle is fixedly attached to the panel body. The protective face screen as a whole can be sterilized for repeated use. For example, the protective face screen bulk surface material is resistant to corrosion by ethanol and chlorine based disinfectants. Alternatively, the protective face screen is entirely disposable. In other examples, the handle is removably attached to the panel body. In one example, the detachable connection between the handle and the panel body is achieved using a chute-rib mating mechanism. In an exemplary embodiment, two parallel longitudinal sliding grooves are provided on the panel body, and a protruding strip that engages with the sliding grooves is provided at the end of the handle. When assembling, the handle is inserted longitudinally (for example, in the up-down direction of fig. 1) into a slide groove provided in the lower portion of the panel main body. When the panel is disassembled, the handle is pulled out of the sliding groove of the panel main body in the opposite direction. In another example, a protruding strip is provided on the panel body to extend longitudinally outward, and two parallel longitudinal sliding grooves are provided at the end of the handle to engage with the protruding strip. The sliding groove-convex strip matching mechanism can also be provided with a locking device. For example, a ball elastically pressed into the protrusion bar may be provided at a lateral side of the protrusion bar, and a recess for receiving the ball may be provided at a corresponding position of the slide groove, and when the protrusion bar slides to a predetermined position along the slide groove, the ball elastically enters the recess, thereby completing temporary locking of the handle and the panel main body. In another example, the detachable connection between the handle and the panel body is accomplished using a snap-fit mechanism. In configurations where the handle is removably attached to the panel body, the panel body may be disposable, enabling one-patient use. Alternatively, the panel body may be sterilizable for reuse. For example, the material of the panel body is resistant to corrosion by ethanol and chlorine-containing disinfectants.
An opening 101 through which a throat swab is passed is provided in the panel body. The aperture is sized to mate with a pharyngeal swab. The collection operator can operate the pharynx swab on one side of the face screen main body to collect the pharyngeal secretions of the patient on the other side of the face screen main body. In one example, as shown in fig. 2, the opening 101 may be a centrally radially cut opening. The triangular portions forming the opening are resiliently deformable and engage closely about the periphery of the throat swab as it is inserted into the opening so that the opening can accommodate the passage therethrough of throat swabs of different thickness and ensure flexible operation while ensuring a close fit of the throat swab to the opening. In one example, as shown in fig. 3, to ensure that spray or aerosol from the patient does not pass through the aperture to the collection operator, a sealing ring 102 may be provided on the inner periphery of the aperture 101 so that the pharyngeal swab passes through the aperture in a close fit with the sealing ring. The sealing ring may be made of a resilient material, such as sponge, rubber or silicone, so as to accommodate pharyngeal swabs of different thickness passing therethrough.
Fig. 4 shows a protective face screen for pharyngeal swab collection according to a second exemplary embodiment of the present invention. On the basis of the exemplary protective face screen for pharyngeal swab collection shown in fig. 1, the embodiment shown in fig. 4 further comprises an illumination unit 103 for illuminating the pharynx of the subject to be collected. The lighting unit may comprise one or more LED lamps. The handle may house a power supply means (e.g. a rechargeable battery behind a dry cell) therein which is in electrical communication with the lighting unit to provide power thereto. A switch means 201 for controlling the on/off and/or the shade of the lighting unit may also be provided on the handle.
The lighting unit 103 may be disposed on the panel body near the handle, for example, near a junction where the panel body is connected to the handle. Alternatively, the illumination unit may be provided on the handle, for example, near a joint portion where the handle is connected to the panel main body. In one example, the lighting unit may be mounted at an angle such that light illuminated by the lighting unit reaches the pharynx of the captured subject. In one example, the mounting angle of the lighting unit with respect to the panel body or the handle may be adjusted.
The utility model discloses creatively from how to cut off the propagation of patient's exhaust pathogen through starting, designed novel structure's a protection face screen that is used for pharynx swab to gather. This protection face screen can shelter from patient's mouth and nose all-roundly, prevents aerosol and droplet blowout to reduce pathogen transmission and the risk of polluted environment, thereby also accomplish the sampling more accurately for the sufficient psychological support of sampling operator simultaneously.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that although the protective face shield of the present invention has been described in terms of a pharyngeal swab, the protective face shield is also suitable for use in sampling sites such as the nose, mouth, etc.
The above description is only exemplary of the preferred embodiments of the present invention. For those skilled in the art, without departing from the principles of the present invention, several improvements can be made, and these improvements should also be considered as the scope of the present invention.
