The pet litter box of any one of claims 2-5 wherein the front housing has a gripping block on an outer surface thereof and the rear housing has a gripping groove on an inner wall thereof, the gripping block engaging the gripping groove when the front housing is rotated until the opening of the rear housing is completely closed, such that the front housing cannot rotate relative to the rear housing.

8. The pet litter box of claim 7 wherein said circular turntable has a diameter less than a diameter of said circular recess.

9. The pet litter box of any one of claims 2-5 wherein the inner wall of the rear housing is inwardly convex to form a stop against which the side of the front housing abuts when the front housing is rotated to fully expose the opening of the rear housing.

10. The pet litter box of claim 6 wherein said circular turntable is located at the center of said front housing, said circular groove is located at the center of said rear housing, and said front housing is concentric with said rear housing.
