A water meter as claimed in claim 7, wherein said housing includes a first housing portion and a second housing portion, said first and second housing portions being axially aligned with and removably connected to form said housing, said water outlet being disposed on said first housing portion, said water inlet and said first threaded portion being disposed on said second housing portion.
9. A water meter as claimed in claim 7, wherein a seal is provided between said first frame and said valve means.
10. A water meter as claimed in claim 1, wherein said valve means is further adapted to block said drain and trapways and to block said drain and outlet in the third condition.
