Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a wrench, and more particularly to a socket for use with a wrench.
Background
Bolts and nuts are common and widely used fastening elements in daily life, and a wrench is a tool for helping to lock or loosen the bolts and nuts, and can be driven by an electric or pneumatic method, while a socket wrench is a wrench for rotating the nuts or bolts after the nuts or bolts are sleeved by sockets.
In order to accommodate different sized bolts and nuts, the user will typically also prepare different sized sockets in the tool box to select the appropriate socket depending on the application. However, since the number of sleeves is large and the size of the sleeves is slightly different from each other in appearance, the sleeves with different sizes are not easily accessible to users, and therefore, some methods print size marks on the surface of the sleeves to increase the identification, but such methods are too expensive in cost and have limited recognition effects, so that the method is difficult to be widely applied.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
The main object of the present invention is to provide a socket for a wrench, which is convenient to manufacture and has the advantages of high appearance variation, good durability and better identification.
In order to achieve the above objective, the sleeve of the present invention comprises a sleeve body and a pipe member. The sleeve body is provided with a sleeve head and a sleeve body, the sleeve head is used for being assembled with a wrench, one end of the sleeve body is connected with the sleeve head, and the sleeve body is provided with a polygonal hole used for being assembled with a bolt head or a nut; the pipe fitting is made of composite materials and is detachably sleeved on the barrel body of the sleeve barrel body.
The pipe fitting made of the composite material has the characteristics of convenient manufacture, light weight and high strength, and different patterns, colors or characters can be easily designed on the surface of the pipe fitting, so that the pipe fitting is beneficial to the identification of a user. In other words, the sleeve of the present invention can achieve the effects of high degree of appearance variation, good durability, better identification degree, etc.
Preferably, the outer diameter of the cylinder head is larger than the outer diameter of the cylinder body, so that a shoulder surface is formed at the junction of the cylinder head and the cylinder body, and one end of the pipe fitting abuts against the shoulder surface to generate a positioning effect.
Preferably, the shoulder surface has an embedding groove, and one end of the pipe fitting has an embedding part embedded in the embedding groove, so that the pipe fitting further improves the positioning effect.
Preferably, the outer circumferential surface of the barrel body is provided with a plurality of convex strips which are mutually parallel, the plurality of convex strips are closely adjacent to the shoulder surface and abut against the inner circumferential surface of the pipe fitting, so that the positioning effect of the pipe fitting is further improved.
Preferably, the outer circumference of the pipe may be flush with the outer circumference of the cylinder head, or form a height difference with the outer circumference of the cylinder head.
The detailed construction, features, assembly or use of the socket for use with a wrench as provided by the present invention will be described in the detailed description of the embodiments that follow. However, those of ordinary skill in the art should understand that the detailed description and specific examples are given for the purpose of illustration only, and not for the purpose of limiting the scope of the invention.

Detailed Description
Applicants first describe herein, throughout the specification and claims that follow, the examples and claims, and their directional terms are used with reference to the drawings. Next, in the embodiments and the drawings to be described below, the same element numbers denote the same or similar elements or structural features thereof.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, a sleeve 10 according to embodiment 1 of the present invention includes a sleeve body 20 and a pipe 30.
The sleeve body 20 is made of metal. The sleeve body 20 has a barrel head 21 and a barrel 24, one end of the barrel 24 is connected with the barrel head 21, the other end of the barrel 24 forms a free end 25, and the outer diameter of the barrel head 21 is larger than that of the barrel 24, so that a shoulder surface 28 is formed at the junction of the barrel head 21 and the barrel 24. In addition, the barrel head 21 has a driving hole 22 for assembling with a wrench and a pair of through holes 23 radially communicating with the driving hole 22, and the barrel 24 has a polygonal hole 26 (here, a hexagonal hole is taken as an example) for assembling with a bolt head or a nut, and as shown in fig. 2, in this embodiment, the outer peripheral surface of the barrel 24 has a plurality of convex strips 27 adjacent to the shoulder surface, and the convex strips 27 are arranged side by side. Therefore, the wrench can lock or disassemble the bolt or the nut through the sleeve body 20.
The tube 30 is made of a composite material such as carbon fiber or glass fiber. The tube 30 is sleeved on the barrel 24 of the sleeve body 20, the length of the tube 30 is slightly greater than that of the barrel 24, one end of the tube 30 abuts against the shoulder 28, the other end of the tube 30 protrudes out of the free end 25 of the barrel 24 (as shown in fig. 1), in addition, the inner circumferential surface of the tube 30 abuts against the protruding strip 27 of the barrel 24 to generate positioning (as shown in fig. 3), the outer circumferential surface of the tube 30 is provided with an identification layer 32, and the identification layer 32 can adopt patterns, colors, characters or any combination thereof according to actual needs. In addition, in the present embodiment, the outer diameter of the pipe member 30 is smaller than the outer diameter of the cylinder head 21, so that a height difference is formed between the outer circumferential surface of the pipe member 30 and the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder head 21.
However, the manner of positioning between the tube 30 and the sleeve body 20 varies differently. Referring to fig. 4, in the embodiment of the present invention 2, the protruding strip is omitted from the barrel 24, but a caulking groove 29 is formed on the shoulder 28, an end of the tube 30 protrudes out of a caulking portion 34, and the tube 30 is sleeved on the barrel 24 and then is fixed by the caulking portion 34 being embedded in the caulking groove 29 of the shoulder 28. Referring to fig. 5, in the embodiment of the present invention 3, the pipe 30 is also positioned by the engaging portion 34 being engaged in the engaging groove 29 of the shoulder 28, which is different from the embodiment of the present invention 2 in that the thickness of the pipe 30 is thicker, so that after the pipe 30 is sleeved on the barrel 24, the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 30 is flush with the outer peripheral surface of the barrel head 21, and the overall structure and appearance have good integrity. Finally, referring to fig. 6, the tube head 21 omits the through hole, so that the appearance is more rounded, and the length of the tube body 24 and the tube 30 is shorter to meet different requirements.
In summary, the pipe 30 made of the composite material has the features of easy manufacture, light weight and high strength, and can be easily designed with different patterns, colors or characters on the outer circumference surface, thereby facilitating the identification of the user. In other words, the sleeve 10 of the present invention can achieve the effects of high appearance variation, good durability, and better identification.
