A router or a wireless LAN adapter as a communication device has electronic components built therein, and if foreign matter such as water or dust touches the electronic components, the function of the router or the wireless LAN adapter is impaired.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
An object of the utility model is to provide a communication device subassembly and air conditioner system that can restrain the foreign matter invasion.
With respect to the communication device module (hereinafter, also simply referred to as "module") of the present invention,
(1) the communication device module includes: a communication device that houses an electronic component in a housing and has an antenna protruding from the housing; and a mounting member for disposing the communication device on a predetermined installation surface,
the housing has: a first surface having a connection portion connected to a root portion of the antenna; and a second face having an outlet portion for electrical connection lines,
the communication device is fixed to the mount so that the first face or the second face faces downward.
In the assembly of the present invention, the communication device is fixed to the mounting member such that a first surface of a housing accommodating the electronic component, the first surface having a connection portion connected to a root portion of an antenna of the communication device, or a second surface of an outlet portion having the electrical connection line faces downward. This can prevent water such as dew or foreign matter such as dust from entering the housing through the connection portion or the outlet portion.
(2) In the module of the above (1), the first face and the second face may be the same face of the housing. In this case, since the communication device is fixed to the attachment so that the connection portion connected to the base portion of the antenna and the outlet portion of the electrical connection line face downward, it is possible to suppress intrusion of foreign matter into the housing from the connection portion and the outlet portion.
(3) In the assembly of the aforementioned (1) or (2), the mount may have an inclined surface inclined with respect to the installation surface. In this case, by disposing the communication device on the inclined surface of the mounting, it is possible to suppress intrusion of foreign matter into the housing from the connection portion or the outlet portion of the communication device.
(4) In the foregoing assembly of (3), the mount has: a foundation plate; and an inclined plate which is erected obliquely upward from the base plate and has the inclined surface, and the communication device can be fixed to the inclined surface of the inclined plate in an inclined state with respect to a horizontal plane. In this case, since the communication device is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, the first surface or the second surface of the housing is oriented obliquely downward. This can prevent foreign matter from entering the housing through the connection portion or the outlet portion.
(5) In the assembly of the foregoing (1), the housing and the mount may be integrally formed. In this case, the number of components can be reduced.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, the components of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The present invention is not limited to these examples, and is intended to include all modifications within the meaning and range equivalent to the scope of the utility model registration claims as shown in the scope of the utility model registration claims.
[ first embodiment ]
Fig. 1 is a perspective explanatory view of a router module 1 including a router 2 as a communication device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 2 is a side explanatory view of the router module 1 shown in fig. 1. The router module 1 is an embodiment of the communication device module of the present invention.
The router unit 1 is used in an air conditioning system having an air conditioner, a wireless LAN adapter, and a server, which are not shown, and the operation of the air conditioner is monitored by a central server. The router module 1 is provided with a router 2 and a mounting member 3.
The router 2 includes: a housing 4 that accommodates electronic components; and an antenna 5 protruding from the housing 4 to the outside. The router 2 of the present embodiment has two antennas 5. However, the number of antennas 5 is not particularly limited in the present invention.
The housing 4 is made of synthetic resin such as ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and has a box shape. As shown in fig. 3, a connection portion 6 connected to the base of the antenna 5 and outlet portions 7 and 8 of the electrical connection lines are provided on the lower surface 4a of the housing 4, i.e., the surface facing downward in the installation state of the router 2. The outlet 7 is connected to the other end of a LAN cable 9 having one end connected to an air conditioner (not shown), and the outlet 8 is connected to a plug 10a at the end of a power line 10 from a commercial power supply. The lower surface 4a of the housing 4 of the present embodiment is a first surface having the connecting portion 6, and is also a second surface having the outlet portions 7, 8. In other words, in the present embodiment, the first surface and the second surface are the same surface (lower surface 4a) of the housing 4. The power supply of the router 2 may be provided directly from the air conditioner or via a peripheral device that receives power from the air conditioner.
The mounting device 3 is used for disposing the router 2 on a predetermined installation surface, and the mounting device 3 includes: a rectangular base plate 11; and an inclined plate 12, wherein the inclined plate 12 has an inclined surface 12a inclined with respect to the installation surface. The mounting member 3 is made of metal such as iron. The predetermined installation surface may be an upper surface of the ceiling C. However, the predetermined installation surface is not limited to this, and may be other places such as a floor surface of an outdoor balcony where a roof is installed.
The inclined plate 12 is rectangular and is erected obliquely upward from one side 11a of the base plate 11, and an angle α (inclination angle) formed by the inclined plate 12 and the base plate 11 is not particularly limited in the present invention, but is preferably 20 to 80 degrees, and when the router 2 is installed on the back of a ceiling or the like, the angle of the router 2 with respect to the horizontal plane is preferably small because the height is often limited, and on the other hand, an inclination angle of about 20 degrees is necessary to direct the connection portion 6 or the outlet portions 7, 8 of the router 2 downward, and on the other hand, if the inclination angle exceeds 80 degrees, the effect of height reduction is reduced.
The inclined plate 12 has a rectangular opening 13a near the one side 11a of the base plate 11. The base plate 11 has an opening 13b having a shape corresponding to the opening 13a below the opening 13 a. The router 2 is fixed to an area of the inclined plate 12 above the upper edge 13a1 of the opening 13 a. More specifically, the router 2 is fixed to the inclined plate 12 in such a manner that at least a part of the antenna 5 of the router, i.e., the end portion 5a, is located within the openings 13a, 13 b. In the antenna 5 of the present embodiment, a signal is transmitted and received at the end portion 5 a.
Instead of the openings 13a and 13b, a notch may be formed in one side 11a of the base plate 11 and one side of the inclined plate 12 that is in contact with the one side 11 a. In this case, the router 2 is fixed to the inclined plate 12 in such a manner that at least a part of the antenna 5 of the router 2, i.e., the end portion 5a, is located within the notch.
The router 2 may be fixed to the inclined plate 12 of the mounting member 3 by, for example, welding, screwing with screws, or the like. The mounting member 3 is made of metal that can obstruct communication of the antenna 5. However, in the present embodiment, the end portion 5a of the antenna 5 of the router 2 is positioned inside the openings 13a and 13b, and therefore, communication obstruction can be suppressed. The portion of the antenna 5 having a communication function may be located in the openings 13a and 13 b. In the case of the present embodiment, since the end portion 5a thereof has a communication function, the end portion 5a is located inside the openings 13a, 13 b. When the entire antenna has a communication function, the entire antenna is preferably located in the opening in order to more reliably suppress communication interference.
In the present embodiment, the router module 1 is disposed on the installation surface so that the lower surface 4a of the housing 4 having the connection portion 6 and the outlet portions 7 and 8 faces downward. Thus, when the router module 1 is disposed on the back surface of the ceiling, even if water such as dew condensation water from a water pipe or a pipeline disposed on the back surface of the ceiling falls on the router 2, the water can be prevented from entering the housing 4 of the router 2. Further, since the router 2 is fixed to the mounting fixture 3 in a state where the antenna 5 is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, the installation height can be reduced as compared with a case where the router 2 is disposed in a state where the antenna 5 is oriented in the vertical direction. As a result, the degree of freedom in installing the router 2 in a narrow space such as a ceiling back surface can be improved. In addition, "water" in the present specification includes dew water from the above-described water piping or piping, and also includes, for example, rainwater. Further, by disposing the router module 1 on the installation surface so that the lower surface 4a of the housing 4 having the connection portion 6 and the outlet portions 7 and 8 faces downward, there is an effect of suppressing intrusion of dust and the like which adversely affect the electronic components, in addition to suppressing intrusion of water.
[ second embodiment ]
Fig. 4 is a front explanatory view of a router module 21 as a communication device module according to another embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 5 is a side explanatory view of the router module 21 shown in fig. 4.
The router unit 21 is used in an air conditioning system including an air conditioner, a wireless LAN adapter, and a server, which are not shown, as in the above-described embodiments. The router module 21 includes a router 22 and a mounting unit 23. In the present embodiment, the same elements and components as those of the embodiment shown in fig. 1 to 3 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted for simplicity.
In the router module 21 of the present embodiment, a connection portion 6 connected to the base of the antenna 5 is provided on the lower surface 4a of the box-shaped housing 4, and an outlet portion 7 connected to the LAN cable 9 and an outlet portion 8 connected to the power supply line 10 are provided on the side surface 4b of the housing 4. The housing 4 of the present embodiment has a first surface having the connecting portion 6 on a lower surface 4a thereof and a second surface having the outlet portions 7 and 8 on a side surface 4b thereof.
The mounting member 23 includes: a box-shaped housing 24 that accommodates the router 22; and a fixing piece 25 for fixing the housing 24 to a predetermined installation surface. The housing 24 may be made of, for example, synthetic resin such as ABS, iron, or the like, or the fixing piece 25 may be made of, for example, iron or the like. The housing 24 may be fixed to the fixing piece 25 by screwing, for example, a screw.
The lower surface 24a of the case 24 fixed to the fixing piece 25 is an inclined surface that faces downward as it is separated from the fixing piece 25. The router 22 is fixed to the back surface of the surface 24b of the housing 24 so that the antenna 5 protrudes from the lower surface 24a to the outside of the housing 24. The antenna 5 penetrates an opening 26 formed in the lower surface 24a of the housing 24 and protrudes outside the housing 24. A hole 27 capable of draining water is formed near the lowest portion of the lower surface 24 a. By forming the drainable hole 27, even if water such as dew enters the case 24, the water such as dew can be discharged to the outside through the drainable hole 27. This can prevent water such as dew from entering the housing 4 of the router 22 disposed in the case 24.
The LAN cable 9 and the power supply line 10 are led out to the outside of the housing 24 from an opening 28 and an opening 29 formed in the lower surface 24a of the housing 24, respectively. Since the openings 28 and 29 are directed downward, it is possible to prevent foreign matter such as water and dust such as dew from entering the inside of the housing 24 through the openings 28 and 29.
[ other modifications ]
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the claims for registration of the present invention.
For example, in the above-described embodiment, the router is mounted on the inclined plate standing from one side of the base plate. However, the form of the mount is not limited thereto. For example, as shown in fig. 6, the router 33 may be attached to an inclined plate 32, the inclined plate 32 may be disposed on top of long and short column portions 31a and 31b, and the long and short column portions 31a and 31b may be erected on the base plate 30. As shown in fig. 7, the attachment device 42 may be a base plate 40 and a rod-shaped pillar 41, the base plate 40 being provided on an installation surface, and one end of the rod-shaped pillar 41 being fixed to the base plate 40. In this case, the router 43 is attached to the other end of the pillar portion 41. At that time, the connection portion between the other end of the pillar portion 41 and the router 43 may be the connection portion 44 with the angle adjustment function so that the tilt angle of the router 43 can be adjusted.
In the above-described embodiment, the attachment device is made up of the inclined plate as a plate-shaped member having the inclined surface and the base plate as a plate-shaped member. However, the mounting member of the present invention may have an inclined surface, and may be constituted by a block-shaped or solid member 50 as shown in fig. 8. The router 51 is fixed to the inclined surface 50a of the member 50.
In the above-described embodiment, the housing of the router as the communication device is a separate member from the attachment, and the housing is fixed to the attachment. However, the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, as shown in fig. 9, the housing 61 of the router 60 and the mounting member 62 may be integrally formed with, for example, a synthetic resin. In this case, the number of components can be reduced.
In the above-described embodiments, a router is exemplified as the communication device. However, the present invention may be applied to a wireless LAN adapter module using a wireless LAN adapter as a communication device.
