As shown, the top cover 110 is hollow and has a closed end 111 at one end and an open end 112 at the opposite end, so that the top cover 110 and the base 120 are connected to define a receiving space for receiving a power strip therebetween. At the open end 112, for example, an outwardly projecting circumferential flange 115 is integrally formed. The top cover 110 is also provided with an opening 113 in its wall. The opening 113 is used to guide the electric wires of the power supply board mounted on the base 120. Although a substantially square lid is shown, those skilled in the art will appreciate that other shaped lids, such as hemispherical, triangular or other polygonal lids, are also suitable for use in the present invention.
Figure 5 illustrates a perspective view of the base 120 of the power pack 100 of a range hood in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. As can be seen in fig. 5, the base 120 may include an annular groove 121 extending along the outer periphery. The annular groove 121 may cooperate with a lower edge of the top cover 110 (e.g., the circumferential flange 115) to act as an oil-resistant structure. When the top cover 110 is fastened to the base 120, if oil smoke enters the power supply box 100 from a gap between the top cover and the base, the oil smoke will be accumulated in the annular groove 121, so that the oil smoke is prevented from entering the power supply box 100 to pollute the power supply board.
The annular groove 121 is formed by an inner peripheral wall 1211 and an outer peripheral wall 1212 extending upwardly from the surface of the base 120. Preferably, the inner peripheral wall 1211 extends for a height greater than that of the outer peripheral wall 1212, so that the annular groove 121 forms an oil-proof structure. When the top cover 110 is placed over the base 120, the peripheral flange 115 of the top cover 110 rests on the shorter peripheral wall 1212 of the recess 121, while the higher inner peripheral wall 1211 abuts against the inner wall surface of the top cover 110, forming a stop fit, so that a portion of the space is left at the bottom of the annular recess 121. The oil flowing from the outside of the power supply box 100 through the gap between the circumferential flange 115 of the top cover 110 and the outer circumferential wall 1212 of the annular groove 121 is blocked by the inner circumferential wall 1211 of the annular groove 121 and cannot enter the accommodating space of the power supply box 100, and the oil is further deposited on the bottom of the annular groove 121, so that the pollution and damage of oil stains to the power supply board are prevented.
The base 120 is also provided with a base engagement portion 124. The top cover engagement portion 114 of the top cover 110 mates with the base engagement portion 124 of the base 120 when the top cover 110 is placed over the base 120. Illustratively, the base engagement portion 124 may have an aperture 126 and the cap engagement portion 114 may have an aperture 116. Thus, a connecting member, such as a screw, may be inserted thereinto to engage the top cover 110 and the base 120 with each other, preventing them from being separated from each other. Alternatively, the hole 116 may be omitted from the top cover 110, the hole 126 may be omitted from the base 120, and the top cover joining portion 114 and the base joining portion 124 may be joined together by means of an adhesive, fusion bonding, ultrasonic bonding, or the like. Alternatively, the top cover engagement portion 114 and the base engagement portion 124 may be fixed to each other by sandwiching. In addition, other suitable means for attaching the top cover 110 to the base 120 may be used.
The base 120 may further include a mounting portion 122 for mounting the power strip on the base 120. The mounting portion 122 may have, for example, an internal bore for insertion of a mounting screw.
Figure 6 illustrates a top view of the base 120 of the power pack 100 of a range hood according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. An annular groove 121 extending continuously around the outer periphery of the base 120 is best seen in fig. 6. Therefore, the annular groove 121 forms a space for containing oil stains, pollutants, particularly the oil stains are effectively prevented from invading the position of the power panel, and the power panel is well protected.
Figure 7 shows a side cross-sectional view of the base 120 of the power pack 100 of a range hood according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. As shown, the inner peripheral wall 1211 of the annular groove 121 has a height difference with the outer peripheral wall 1212. The lower peripheral wall 1212 serves to support the circumferential flange 115 of the top cap 110 such that the circumferential flange 115 is spaced from the groove bottom of the annular groove 121 to leave a space to accommodate the deposited oil.
Further, as shown in FIG. 7, a hollow oil-resistant chamber 123 is formed in the base 120. Specifically, the base 120 has an upper plate 1231 and a lower plate 1232 spaced apart to define the oil-repellent chamber 123 therebetween. The oil-repellent chamber 123 also has a first through-hole 131 that communicates the oil-repellent chamber 123 with the space that houses the power supply board and a second through-hole 132 that communicates the oil-repellent chamber 123 with the interior of the range hood. In the illustrated embodiment, the first through hole 131 is provided on the upper plate 1231, and the second through hole 132 is provided on the lower plate 1232. When the oil dirt in the space for accommodating the power supply board is accumulated more after long-term use, the oil dirt may flow into the inside of the range hood along the first through hole 131 and the second through hole 132. Since the first through hole 131 and the second through hole 132 penetrate the base 120, oil smoke or grease generated from the range hood may enter the interior of the power supply box 100 through the first through hole 131 and the second through hole 132. When oil smoke or oil stain flows in through the first through hole 131 and the second through hole 132, the oil-proof cavity 123 can play a role of isolating the oil smoke or oil stain. That is, oil smoke or oil dirt entering from the second through hole 132 tends to enter the oil-proof chamber 123, thereby effectively preventing oil dirt or oil smoke from entering the inside of the power supply box 100 and contaminating the power supply board.
In addition, the base 120 is usually provided with a wire hole 125. The wire feed hole 125 may connect electrical components inside the range hood to a power strip. The wiring hole 125 penetrates the base 120. The oil-repellent chamber 123 also prevents oil from entering the interior of the power supply box 100 via the wiring hole 125 and contaminating the power supply board.
In the illustrated embodiment, the first and second through holes 131 and 132 are aligned with each other in a vertical direction. Thus facilitating processing and manufacturing. In another embodiment, the first and second through holes 131 and 132 are vertically staggered from each other. Therefore, oil smoke or oil stain generated by the range hood can be effectively prevented from entering the power supply box 100 through the first through hole 131 and the second through hole 132.
It should be noted that, in the above embodiments, the manner of engaging the top cover 110 with the base 120, the manner of engaging the power supply box 110 with the cigarette making machine, and the manner of mounting the power supply board on the base 120 are only exemplary, and the present invention is not limited thereto, as long as the present invention can be implemented on the power supply box 100 and the cigarette making machine to which the power supply box belongs.
