The cover (fourth cover) 104 has one hole 104a and a plurality of holes 104 b. The hole 104a is a circular hole located at the center of the cover 104. Hole 104b is a substantially trapezoidal hole disposed around hole 104 a. The holes (fourth holes) 104a and 104b are formed to have a size enough to allow the cleaning and preserving solution to flow therethrough but not to allow the contact lenses to fall off. Meanwhile, the diameter of hole 104a is formed larger than the diameter of hole 94 a. Hole 104a and hole 64a have the same configuration, and hole 104b and hole 64b have the same configuration. Further, an L-indicating portion 104c is provided on the outer side of the hole 104a in the cover 104 so as to close the partial hole 104 a. The L display section 104c is a member for displaying "L" characters representing the left eye.
The lateral projecting portion (sixth lateral projecting portion) 106a is shaped like a flat plate, is provided continuously from a position on the right rear side of the cylindrical portion 102 (a position on the rear side within the range of the right side surface) in the closed state of the lens housing opening/closing portion 100, and projects to the right rear side, and is overlapped on the upper surface of the connecting portion main body 82 in parallel with the connecting portion main body 82 in the closed state of the lens housing opening/closing portion 100.
Meanwhile, the lateral projecting portion (fourth lateral projecting portion) 106b is formed in a flat plate shape, is provided continuously from a position on the front right side of the cylindrical portion 102 (a position on the right side surface side in the front side range) in the closed state of the lens housing opening/closing portion 100, and projects toward the front side (i.e., the side opposite to the side of the bent portion 111), and is formed in a state of being adjacent to the right side of the lateral projecting portion 96a when viewed in plan in the closed state of the lens housing opening/closing portion 100, with the surfaces on both sides of the lateral projecting portion 106b facing in the up-down direction in the closed state of the lens housing opening/closing portion 100.
The vertical protrusion portion (third vertical protrusion portion) 106c is flat, and is formed from the upper surface of the lateral protrusion portion 106a (the upper surface of the closed lens housing opening/closing portion 100) to the surface of the lateral protrusion portion 106a at right angles, and the vertical protrusion portion 106c is formed in the left-right direction. The upper end of the longitudinal protrusion 106c protrudes upward beyond the upper end of the lid 104.
Meanwhile, the hinge structure portion 110a is provided so as to be connected to the rear surface of the cylindrical portion main body 92 a. The hinge structure 110b is provided continuously from the rear surface of the cylindrical portion 102. The hinge portion 110 is constituted by the hinge structure 110a and the hinge structure 110 b. The hinge structure 110a and the hinge structure 110b are connected by a left-right-direction bent portion 111 as a connection position, and the hinge portion 110 is bendable by the bent portion 111, so that the hinge structure 110a and the hinge structure 110b are folded in two in the closed state of the opening/closing portion 100 for housing lenses. The bent portion 111 is provided on the same straight line as the bent portion 71 in the X1-X2 direction.
When the opening/closing section for lens storage 100 is opened, the lateral protrusion 106b may be hooked by a finger and the lateral protrusion 106b may be lifted upward, and for example, the lateral protrusion 96a may be pressed by a finger of one hand and the lateral protrusion 106b may be lifted upward by a finger of the other hand.
The lens housing sections 50 and 90 are sized to accommodate a contact lens (particularly a hard corneal contact lens), for example, a contact lens having a diameter of 11 mm.
In the closed state of the lens storage opening/ closing portions 60 and 100, the upper end of the lid portion 64 and the upper end of the lid portion 104 are formed at the same height. The lower end of the lid 54 is formed at the same height as the lower end of the lid 94.
As described above, in the lens holding portion 40, the lens receiving portions 50 are provided in parallel with the lens receiving portions 90 in the left-right direction of the joint portion 42. The connecting portion 44 is provided continuously in the left-right direction from the engaging portion 42. The lens housing fixing portion 51 is provided to be connected in the left-right direction from the connecting portion 44. The connecting portion 80 is provided to be connected in the left-right direction from the lens housing fixing portion 51. The lens housing fixing portion 91 is connected to the connecting portion 80 in the left-right direction.
The openings of the cylindrical portions 52 and 92 of the lens housing fixing portions 51 and 91 are oriented in the same direction (i.e., the Z2 direction) in a direction perpendicular to the left-right direction. The hinge portion 70 and the hinge portion 110 are provided in the same direction (i.e., the Y2 direction) perpendicular to the left-right direction with respect to the lens housing fixing portions 51 and 91.
Since the lens housing fixing section 51 and the lens housing opening/closing section 60 are each configured to have the cylindrical sections 52 and 62 and the lid sections 54 and 64, the lens housing section 50 is formed in a shape having substantially the same thickness in the vertical direction (the Z1-Z2 direction) in the horizontal plane along the axis J. Similarly, the lens housing fixing section 91 and the lens housing opening/closing section 100 are each configured to have the cylindrical sections 92 and 102 and the lid sections 94 and 104, and therefore the lens housing section 90 is formed in a shape having substantially the same thickness in the vertical direction (the Z1-Z2 direction) in a horizontal plane along the axis J.
In a plan view of the lens holding portion 40, a length L21 between the axis J and the front end of the lens holding portion 40 and a length L22 between the axis J and the rear end of the lens holding portion 40 are formed to be substantially the same length (see fig. 6). Meanwhile, the lens holding portion 40 has a substantially uniform length in the front-rear direction (Y1-Y2 direction) on the plane along the longitudinal direction of the axis J.
The lens holding portion 40 has a size that can be completely accommodated in the container main body 12. In a state where the lens housing portion 40 is housed in the container body 12, an end portion of the lens holding portion 40 on the side of the transverse projection portion 96b (i.e., an end portion on the side of the left side surface of the lens holding portion 40) is housed in a downward facing state. Meanwhile, in a state where the lens housing section 40 is housed in the container main body 12, one of the upper side (the side of the caps 64 and 104) and the lower side (the side of the caps 54 and 94) of the lens holding section 40 is the front surface section 16a side of the cylindrical section main body 16, and the other is the back surface section 16c of the cylindrical section main body 16. In the example of fig. 9, the upper side of the lens holding portion 40 is the front surface portion 16a side, and the lower side is the back surface portion 16c side.
Since the length (maximum length) L1 (see fig. 6) of the lens holding portion 40 in the front-rear direction is greater than the length L11 (see fig. 8) between the front surface portion 16a and the back surface portion 16c of the storage space of the cylindrical portion main body 16, the lens holding portion 40 cannot rotate about the axis J in the state where the lens holding portion 40 is stored in the container main body 12, but the cap 30 can rotate relative to the lens holding portion 40, and the attachment of the cap 30 to the container 10 is not hindered.
In the container 10, as described above, the lens holding portion 40 cannot rotate in the container 10 because the length L11 is formed short, and the storage space in the cylindrical portion main body 16 is formed small, so that a small amount of the cleaning and preserving solution can be put in the container 10.
The lens housing section 50 and the lens housing section 90 have the same configuration except for the lateral protruding portion 66a, the longitudinal protruding portion 66c, the lateral protruding portions 96b and 106a, the longitudinal protruding portion 106c, the R indicating portion 64c, and the L indicating portion 104 c.
The lens holding portion 40 is integrally formed of a synthetic resin, specifically, polycarbonate. In fig. 9, the longitudinal protrusions 84a, 84b, 66c, and 106c are not originally shown in the cross-sectional view of fig. 9, but are indicated by dashed lines to show the positions of the longitudinal protrusions in the lateral direction.
A method of using the contact lens storage case 5 configured as described above will be described below. The lens holding portion 40 is housed in the container main body 12 in a state where the cap 30 is screwed to the cap attaching portion 20 to close the cap 30. The joint portion 42 of the lens holding portion 40 is rotatably fitted to the inner cylindrical portion 36 of the cover 30. When the lens holding portion 40 is to be removed, the cover 30 is detached from the cover attaching portion 20, and then the lens holding portion 40 is removed.
When the contact lens is stored in the lens holding portion 40, the contact lens CL (see fig. 10) is placed in the lens storage fixing portions 15 and 91 with the lens storage opening/ closing portions 60 and 100 opened, and then the lens storage opening/ closing portions 60 and 100 are closed.
As a specific operation method, for example, the lens holding unit 25 may be held with the left hand (in this case, it is preferable that the lens holding unit 40 is not rotated with respect to the cover 30 by pressing the lower side of the lens holding unit 40 with fingers), and the lens storage opening/ closing units 60 and 100 may be opened. When the opening/closing section for lens storage 60 is opened, the lateral protrusion 66b is hooked by a finger and the lateral protrusion 66b is lifted upward, and when the opening/closing section for lens storage 100 is opened, the lateral protrusion 106b is hooked by a finger and the lateral protrusion 106b is lifted upward.
Further, when the contact lenses are placed in the lens housing fixing sections 51 and 91, the holes 64a and 104a are larger than the holes 54a and 94a, so that the convex side of the contact lens can be inserted into the holes 64a and 104a in the case of a contact lens having a large diameter, or into the holes 54a and 94a in the case of a contact lens having a small diameter.
Then, after the contact lenses are placed in the lens storage fixing sections 51 and 91, the lens storage opening/ closing sections 60 and 100 are closed. It is preferable that the lens storage opening/closing section 62 (or 100) be closed as it is every time a single contact lens is inserted.
The lens storage opening/closing portion 60 can be closed by pinching the lateral protrusion 66b and the lateral protrusion 56 with fingers, and the lens storage opening/closing portion 100 can be closed by pinching the lateral protrusion 106b and the lateral cylindrical portion 96a with fingers.
As described above, since the lateral projecting portions 56, 66b, 96a, 106b are provided, the opening and closing of the lens housing portions 50, 90 are very easy.
Then, the lens holding portion 40 is inserted into the container 10 in which the cleaning preservative is put, and the cap 30 is tightened and closed, whereby the contact lens is stored in the contact lens storage case 5.
When the lens holding portion 40 is inserted into the container 10, at least one of the longitudinal projecting portions 66c, 84a, 84b, and 106c slides while being in contact with the inside of the cylindrical portion 14, so that the lens holding portion 40 is very easily inserted.
Next, when the contact lens stored in the contact lens storage case 5 is to be removed, the cover 30 is removed from the container 10, and then the contact lens is removed from the lens holding portion 40. Specifically, the contact lens may be washed by running water or a washing and preserving solution in the state where the contact lens is stored in the lens holding section 40, and then the contact lens may be taken out. In taking out the contact lens, since the contact lens is generally inserted into the right eye with the right hand in the case of a contact lens for the right eye, the lens holding unit 25 can be held with the right hand (in this case, it is preferable that the lower side of the lens holding unit 40 is pressed with the right hand finger so that the lens holding unit 40 cannot be rotated with respect to the cap 30), the opening/closing unit 60 for lens storage is opened with the left hand, the lens storage fixing unit 51 is turned upside down so that the contact lens falls on the palm of the left hand, and the contact lens is placed on the right hand finger and inserted into the right eye. In addition, in the case of a left-eye contact lens, the lens holding unit 25 is held by the left hand (in this case, it is preferable that the lens holding unit 40 is not rotated with respect to the cover 30), the lens storage opening/closing unit 100 is opened by the right hand, the lens storage fixing unit 91 is reversed, the contact lens is dropped on the palm of the right hand, and the contact lens is placed on the finger of the left hand and inserted into the left eye. In addition, when the contact lens is attached to the eye, it is preferable that the liquid remaining on the inner surface of the contact lens is dropped.
In addition, when the contact lens for the right eye is mounted, the lens holding unit 25 may be held by the left hand, and the contact lens may be fitted to the left hand finger and fitted to the right eye after the contact lens is dropped into the palm of the right hand, and when the contact lens for the left eye is mounted, the lens holding unit 25 may be held by the right hand, and the contact lens may be fitted to the right hand finger and fitted to the left eye after the contact lens is dropped into the palm of the left hand. Fig. 10 is a diagram showing a state in which the lens holding unit 25 is held by the right hand.
When the contact lens is mounted on the eye, it is preferable to drip off the liquid remaining on the inner side of the contact lens.
Further, when the cover 30 is attached to or detached from the cover attaching portion 20, the lens holding portion 40 cannot rotate in the container 10, but the cover 30 is freely rotatable with respect to the lens holding portion 40, and therefore there is no obstacle.
As described above, according to the contact lens storage case 5 of the present embodiment, the contact lenses can be stored in the container 10 or removed from the container 10 in a state where the contact lenses are stored in the lens holding portion 40, and therefore, there is no fear that the contact lenses are damaged by contact with the container.
Further, when the contact lenses are stored in the lens storage sections 50 and 90, the contact lenses may be placed on the lens storage fixing sections 51 and 91 in a state where the lens storage opening/ closing sections 60 and 100 are opened, and then the lens storage opening/ closing sections 60 and 100 are closed, and when the contact lenses are taken out from the lens storage sections 50 and 90, the contact lenses may be taken out by reversing the lens storage fixing sections 51 and 91 in a state where the lens storage opening/ closing sections 60 and 100 are opened, and dropping the contact lenses, and therefore, there is no fear of damage to the contact lenses.
In addition, when the lens holder unit 25 is attached to the container 10, only one cap 30 needs to be attached to the cap attaching portion 20, and therefore, the storage operation of the contact lens is very easy.
Meanwhile, in a state where the contact lenses are stored in the lens storage sections 50 and 90, the contact lenses can be washed by washing the lens storage sections 50 and 90 with running water or a washing and preserving solution, and thus, the contact lenses do not need to be held by hands for washing. In particular, in the lens housing sections 50 and 90, since the lens housing fixing sections 51 and 91 and the lens housing opening/ closing sections 60 and 100 are formed in a basket shape, the entire contact lens can be cleaned even in a state where the contact lens is housed in the lens housing sections 50 and 90.
When the contact lens is taken out with one of the lens storage opening/ closing portions 60, 100 opened, the other of the lens storage opening/ closing portions 60, 100 does not need to be opened, and therefore the contact lens does not fall off.
In addition, since the lens housing section 50 and the lens housing section 90 are arranged in parallel in the left-right direction, the contact lenses can be easily housed and taken out. In addition, when cleaning the contact lenses stored in the lens holding portion 40, 2 contact lenses can be separately cleaned, and thus, the cleaning device is very hygienic. That is, in the configuration in which the lens housing section 50 and the lens housing section 90 are vertically overlapped, when cleaning the upper contact lens, the liquid after cleaning adheres to the lower contact lens, but this embodiment does not have such a problem.
Since the openings of the cylindrical portions 52 and 92 of the lens housing fixing portions 51 and 91 are both oriented in the same direction (Z2) and the hinge portions 70 and 110 are also provided in the same direction (Y2 direction), the lens housing portion 50 and the lens housing portion 90 can be opened and closed by the same operation, and the opening and closing operation is very easy.
