In the normal operation state of the indoor unit of the air conditioner of the present embodiment, the dust collecting box device 100 is located in the accommodating space between the housing body 410 and the end cap 420. When the indoor unit of the air conditioner needs to clean the dust collection box 110 after running for a period of time, the concave part' 128 on the lower peripheral plate 122 is pulled downwards by hand to separate the first magnet 130 from the second magnet 140, separate the buckle 150 from the hook 160, release the connection relationship between the bracket 120 and the end cover 420, move the dust collection box 110 downwards along with the bracket 120 until the dust collection box 110 is exposed from the opening 421, and then pull the dust collection box 110 horizontally by hand to detach the dust collection box 110 from the bracket 120.
