Description

Handheld support type stirrer with rotating function
Technical Field
The utility model relates to an electric hand-held stirrer which can be combined with a support for use.
Background
Blenders are kitchen appliances that are commonly used to blend food materials prior to cooking or baking. Common mixers include hand-held mixers and pedestal mixers, both of which use a gear drive mechanism to rotate the whisk. The whipper stirs a food material (e.g., a solid, semi-solid, or liquid food material) in a blending container. Such a blender helps to reduce the time and effort required for laborious tasks such as blending, stirring and whipping.
The whisk may be provided as a hand-held "hand whisk" with a handle mounted above a housing that includes a motor and transmission for driving the whisk. Such hand-held mixers are typically used for smaller mixing tasks, such as those performed by users in their home kitchen. Hand blenders are commonly used to blend food materials in a blending container, such as a bowl, which holds the food material while blending.
The hand mixer may be used in conjunction with a frame or stand. The frame or stand of these "combination blenders" or "hand-held stand blenders" assist the user in blending by carrying the weight of the hand blender, locking the blending container in place while the hand blender is in operation, or holding and rotating the blending container while the hand blender is in operation. The advantage of a hand held stand mixer over a conventional stand mixer is that the hand mixer can be detached from the frame or stand and used as a conventional hand mixer.
Conventional hand held stand mixers typically lock the hand mixer and whipper in a position relative to the mixing container. For example, the frame or stand is typically designed to position the hand mixer such that the whipper is located at the center of the mixing container. This is undesirable because the whipper can only stir the food material in the center of the mixing container. For example, the whipper cannot stir food material along the wall of the blender container, which results in reduced stirring performance.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
In order to solve the technical problem, the utility model provides a handheld support formula agitator, include:
a hand-held blender;
an agitator support, the agitator support comprising:
a platform, wherein the hand-held whisk is releasably attachable to the platform;
a base; and
a rotation pivot coupling the platform and the base for rotating the hand blender about a fixed axis extending vertically through the blender support when the hand blender is releasably attached to the platform.

Detailed Description
As shown in fig. 1 to 7, a first embodiment of a hand-held pedestal mixer 1 is provided. The hand-held base mixer 1 includes a hand-held mixer 10 and a mixer base 20.
Similar to other hand-held mixers known in the art, the hand-held mixer 10 comprises a handle 11 for a user to grip when operating the hand-held stand-alone mixer 1. The handle 11 preferably extends upwardly from a main housing 12 of the hand blender 10, the main housing 12 including various electrical and mechanical components for operating the hand blender 10.
Many of the various electrical and mechanical components housed within the hand blender 10 are of a type that has long been used in the art to control various aspects of the hand blender 10. Those electrical and mechanical components may include, but are not limited to, a motor assembly, a drive gear with a main shaft (preferably two), a worm gear, a cooling fan, a speed control switch, an on/off switch, a whipper ejector system, and a power cord or rechargeable battery. Other foreseeable electrical and mechanical components may be present in various alternative embodiments of the hand blender disclosed herein, so long as the hand blender can perform its intended function of blending foodstuff.
The hand mixer 10 also preferably includes a control panel 13 located at an upper portion 14 of the hand mixer 10, near the handle 11. The control panel 13 may be used to drive electrical and mechanical components within the housing 12 to perform various known functions of the hand blender 10, including starting blending, stopping blending, or adjusting blending speed. In one embodiment, control panel 13 is implemented as one or more buttons, including a slide speed control button for adjusting the speed of a whisk (such as whisk 15), and a button for releasing whisk 15 from hand blender 10. Various other buttons may be included on the control panel 13.
The whisk 15 of the hand mixer 10 is located at the lower portion 16 of the hand mixer 10. The whisk 15 shown in fig. 1 may be substantially similar to whisks used in the art for long periods of time, which are releasably attached to the lower portion 16 of the hand blender 10. The whippers 15 can be controlled by the control panel 13 such that when they are activated, they can be used to blend food material within a blending container 30 (such as a bowl-shaped member or other cavity) for containing the food material to be blended. In some embodiments, the control panel 13 may also be used to eject the whisk 15 from the lower portion 16 of the hand blender 10 for cleaning. For example, whipper 15 may be replaced with other stirring devices, such as a flat beater or a dough hook.
The blender support 20 includes a platform 21 extending from a base 22. The hand mixer 10 is releasably attachable to the platform 21. The support base 23 is preferably integrally formed with the base 22. The support base 23 can optionally include a turntable 24 coupled thereto for rotational or reciprocating movement. For example, the mixing container 30 may rotate or reciprocate when the mixing container 30 is removably supported on the turntable 24.
The blender support 20 comprises a swivel pivot 25, the swivel pivot 25 coupling the platform 21 and the base 22 and enabling the platform 21 to rotate about a fixed axis 26 without rotating the base 22. When the hand mixer 10 is releasably attached to the platform 21, the pivot 25 enables the hand mixer 10 to rotate about the fixed axis 26. By effecting this movement, the whisk 15 of the hand mixer 10 can move to the edge of the mixing container 30, scraping the food material from the side, as shown in fig. 8, thereby enhancing the mixing performance. As shown in fig. 9, the rotating pivot 25 also enables the whipper 15 to travel a path across the blending container 30 to improve blending performance. A lock may be included to prevent rotation of the rotating pivot 25 about the fixed axis 26 and to lock the hand mixer 10 in place. The blender support 20 optionally includes a tilt pivot 28 for tilting the hand blender 10, for example, to remove or insert the whipper 15 from or directly into the blending container 30.
From the foregoing, it will be seen that the various embodiments of the invention are well adapted to attain all the ends and advantages mentioned as well as others which are obvious and which are inherent to the structure. It will be understood that certain features and subcombinations of the embodiments are of utility and may be employed without reference to other features and subcombinations. Since many possible embodiments of the invention can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention, it is to be understood that all matter herein set forth or shown in the accompanying drawings is to be interpreted as illustrative and not in a limiting sense. The various structures described above and shown in the accompanying drawings are presented by way of example only and are not intended to limit the concepts, principles and scope of the invention.
Many changes, modifications, variations and other uses and applications of the subject invention will, however, become apparent to those skilled in the art after considering the specification and the accompanying drawings. All such changes, modifications, variations and other uses and applications which do not depart from the spirit and scope of the invention are deemed to be covered by the invention.
