The air cleaner of claim 1, wherein the housing has a first rib extending around the filter element mounting opening and having a notch, and the cap has a second rib engaged with an inner side of the first rib by rotation of the cap after entering the filter element mounting opening from the notch.
6. The air cleaner of claim 1, wherein the screw cap is threadably connected to the housing.
7. An air cleaner according to claim 5 or 6 wherein the outer surface of the housing is provided with a retaining ring disposed around the screw cap.
8. The air cleaner of claim 1, further comprising:
