Fig. 1 schematically illustrates a portion of a line protection device according to the present invention located at a wire access end. As shown in fig. 1, the line protection device includes a plug post 10, a retainer 20, a housing 30, and a conductive contact 40.
As shown in fig. 1, the plug post 10 includes a metal post 11 and an insulated post head 12, and the insulated post head 12 is fixed to one end of the metal post 11.
Fig. 2 schematically shows a plug-in column according to the invention. As shown in fig. 2, the insulated column head 12 has a wire receiving space 123. The wire receiving space 123 receives one end of an external wire and is in conductive contact with the metal post 11. In order to make conductive contact with the metal stud 11, the insulation of a length of wire at the end of the wire in conductive contact with the metal stud 11 needs to be removed. The length of the insulated wire is entirely placed in the wire receiving space 123 so that the wire is in conductive contact with the metal post 11, and at the same time, the portion of the wire exposed outside the wire receiving space 123 has an insulating layer. In this way, the insulating column head 12 can be held by hand for plugging and unplugging the plug column 10, while preventing possible electric shock risks.
The insulating stud 12 and the metal stud 11 can be secured in a number of ways, for example, the metal stud 11 has threads at the end secured to the insulating stud 12, and the insulating stud 12 has threads on the side wall of the conductor receiving space 123 that mate with the aforementioned threads. Thus, the fixing of the metal stud 11 and the insulation post head 12 can be accomplished by screwing one end of the metal stud 11 into the wire receiving space 123, and optionally, the conductive connection of one end of the wire and the metal stud 11 can be fixed at the same time.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 2, in one embodiment of the present invention, the insulation column head 12 includes a first column head portion 121 and a second column head portion 122. The insulating stud 12 is secured to one end of the metal stud 11 by a first stud portion 121. A first connecting side (not shown) of the first stud portion 121 and a corresponding second connecting side (not shown) of the second stud portion 122 are hinged such that the insulating stud 12 can be switched between a closed state and an open state. When the insulation column head 12 is in the open state, the inner wall of the first column head portion 121 and the inner wall of the second column head portion 122 are in the open state. When the insulation post head 12 is switched to the closed state, the inner wall of the first post head portion 121 and the inner wall of the second post head portion 122 enclose a wire receiving space 123.
In the above embodiment, when the insulation post head 12 is in the open state, the end of the wire with the insulation layer removed by a certain length is placed on the inner wall of the first post head portion 121, and the wire is in conductive contact with the metal post 11, and then the insulation post head 12 is switched to the closed state, the inner wall of the first post head portion 121 and the inner wall of the second post head portion 122 surround to form the wire accommodating space 123, and the wire end is accommodated, thereby completing the conductive connection between the plug post 10 and the wire.
Optionally, in one embodiment of the present invention, the inner wall of the first post head portion 121 includes a first wire retention projection (not shown) and the inner wall of the second post head portion 122 includes a second wire retention projection (not shown). When the second column part is switched to the closed state, the first wire fixing protrusion and the second wire fixing protrusion correspond in position. Thus, in the case where the one end of the wire is placed at the inner wall of the first post head portion 121 and the insulation post head 12 is switched to the closed state, the first wire fixing projection and the second wire fixing projection can be engaged with each other to clamp and further fix the one end of the wire placed in the wire accommodating space 123, so that the connection between the jack post 10 and the wire is more stable and reliable.
As shown in fig. 1, the limiting member 20 includes an insulating slider 21 and a limiting post 22, and the insulating slider 21 and the limiting post 22 are connected by a connecting portion 23.
As shown in fig. 1, the housing 30 includes a wire receiving end 33, the housing 30 further includes a first opening 31 and a second opening 32 at the wire receiving end 33, and the second opening 32 has a sliding guide portion (not shown) that guides the insulating slider 21 to slide so that the stopper 20 moves between the fixing position and the releasing position as the insulating slider 21 slides. The slide guide portion may be a slide rail on both sides of the second opening, which is capable of matching with the insulating slider 21 and guiding the sliding of the insulating slider 21.
Housing 30 shown in fig. 1 is the portion of the line protection device at wire access end 33. As shown in fig. 1, the conductive contact 40 is disposed in a space surrounded by the housing 30.
As shown in fig. 1, the metal post 11 further includes a limiting post hole 111, the metal post 11 is inserted into the first opening 31 and reaches a connection position, the metal post 11 is in conductive contact with the conductive contact 40 at the connection position, and the limiting member 20 moves from the release position to the fixing position, so that the limiting post 22 is inserted into the limiting post hole 111 and fixes the inserting post 10. Here, the fixing position of the stopper 20 means that the stopper 20 can fix the insert post 10 by inserting the stopper post 22 into the stopper post hole 111 at the fixing position when the metal post 11 is at the connection position. The stop member 20 is in the release position, and the plug-in post 10 can be pulled out from the first opening 31.
After the inserting-connecting column 10 is inserted into the first opening 31 and the metal column 11 reaches the connection position, the inserting-connecting column 10 needs to be rotated to adjust the orientation of the limiting column hole 111, so that the limiting column 22 can be inserted into the limiting column hole 111. In order to allow the orientation of the stopper rod hole 111 to be positioned at one step when inserted, for example, the metal rod 11 having an oval or rectangular cross section may be used, and the first opening 31 may have a corresponding cross-sectional shape. In this way, the orientation of the stopper post hole 111 needs to be adjusted in advance while the orientation of the metal post 11 is adjusted so that the metal post 11 can be inserted into the stopper post hole 111 without adjusting the orientation again after reaching the connection position in order to insert the metal post 11 into the first opening 31.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present invention, a strip-shaped positioning protrusion (not shown) is axially disposed on an outer sidewall of the metal column 11, the first opening 31 correspondingly has a positioning groove (not shown), the positioning protrusion moves in the positioning groove during the insertion of the metal column 11 into the first opening 31, and the positioning protrusion and the positioning groove cooperate with each other to define the orientation of the limiting column hole 111. The metal post 11 is inserted to the connection position, and the stopper 20 is moved from the release position to the fixing position, so that the stopper post 22 is inserted into the stopper post hole 111. In the above embodiment, the orientations of the positioning protrusion, the positioning groove, and the position-limiting post hole 111 are matched in advance, so that the position-limiting post 22 can be inserted into the position-limiting post hole 111 after the metal post 11 is at the connection position.
As shown in fig. 1, in order to slide the insulating slider 21, an operator needs to apply a force to the insulating slider 21. Generally, the surface of the insulating slider 21 is the position most easily touched and applied by the operator. To increase the friction during the application of force, optionally, as shown in fig. 1, in an embodiment of the present invention, at least one anti-slip groove 211 is included on the surface of the insulating slider 21. Thus, when an operator pushes the insulating slider 21 by pressing a finger on the surface of the insulating slider, friction force can be increased due to the anti-slip groove 211, so that the operator can more easily apply force to the insulating slider 21 to slide the insulating slider. Of course, other options are possible for increasing the friction, for example, raised cleats or granular protrusions may be provided on the surface, and the same may be achieved.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present invention, the insulating slider 21 includes a slider body and a push-pull handle (not shown), which is connected to the slider body and extends in a direction moving from the fixing position to the release position. The above embodiment is another way to operate the insulating slider 21 to slide, and an operator can directly pull or push the push-pull handle to operate the insulating slider 21 to slide.
In the working process of the line protection device, the metal column 11 is at the connection position, the limiting member 20 is at the fixed position, and the limiting column 22 goes in and out of the limiting column hole 111 and fixes the inserting column 10. In the working process, in order to keep the limiting member 20 at the fixed position, optionally, in an embodiment of the present invention, the limiting member 20 includes an elastic resetting mechanism (not shown), the elastic resetting mechanism generates elastic deformation when the limiting member 20 moves to the release position, and the elastic resetting mechanism which generates elastic deformation applies force to the limiting member 20 so that the limiting member 20 can move to the fixed position. Likewise, in the case that the insulating slider 21 is pushed without external force operation, the position-limiting member 20 will be kept at a fixed position due to the elastic restoring mechanism, and functions to fix the plugging column 10. The elastic reset mechanism can have multiple options, such as a spring, an elastic spring plate and the like.
It should be understood that although the present description has been described in terms of various embodiments, not every embodiment includes only a single embodiment, and such description is for clarity purposes only, and those skilled in the art will recognize that the embodiments described herein may be combined as suitable to form other embodiments, as will be appreciated by those skilled in the art.
The above description is only exemplary of the present invention, and is not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. Any equivalent changes, modifications and combinations that may be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and principles of the invention should be considered within the scope of the invention.
