Description

Mop head
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a mop head, and more particularly, to a mop head having a non-apertured engagement recess that is highly engageable with a cleaning member.
Background
Recently, flat mop heads have been popular, which have the advantages of low height, capability of penetrating into dead corners which are difficult to clean, and easiness in rotation and folding, so that the cleaning effect, the self-cleaning effect and the storage effect are ensured. However, the cleaning member (i.e., the strip of cotton cloth) needs to be engaged to the flat mop head in a different manner than conventional bundled mops.
In the prior art, the flat mop head is provided with a vertically through-going joint through-hole (i.e. a joint concave part with an upper hole) on the mop head frame, one side of a cleaning member (e.g. cotton cloth strip) is punched by a punch, the abutted part is used as a punching-in part of the cleaning member, the punching-in part is used as a front end of the cleaning member, the cleaning member is punched from a lower opening of the joint through-hole to pass through the joint through-hole until the punching-in part is exposed out of the upper hole, in particular, the cleaning member is extruded to enter the lower opening of the joint through-hole by taking the punching-in part as the front end and continue to pass through a clamping part positioned in the joint through-hole and then to be exposed out of the upper opening (upper hole) of the joint through-hole, and the exposed part of the cleaning member is clamped with the joint through-hole by restoring the friction force with the upper opening and the friction force between the clamping part and the cleaning member, and pulling back the cleaning component exposed out of the exposed part of the upper hole so that the punching part of the cleaning component is further clamped in the upper hole of the joint through hole, and clamping the cleaning component in the joint through hole by matching with the friction force between the cleaning component and the clamping part. In addition, in the prior art, the punching portion exposed from the upper opening (upper hole) of the joint through hole is additionally fixed.
However, the flat mop head with the through holes in the mop head frame has the disadvantages that dust, dirt or hair is accumulated in the mop head after use, and particularly, the dirt is easily accumulated in the gap between the exposed punching part and the upper opening, which is not only unsightly, but also the dust, dirt or hair is separated from the gap during cleaning or the rotating member of the dewatering tank is caught by falling off when the mop head is rotated and cleaned, which causes inconvenience in use.
There is therefore a prior art design in which only the lower opening is provided in the flat mop head frame and the engagement recess of the upper opening, i.e., the engagement recess without the upper hole) is not provided. However, the mop head frame of the prior art having no engaging recess of the upper hole has a problem that it is not easy to securely attach the cleaning member. This is because, when the cleaning member is punched in by the punch, the cleaning member is engaged with the engaging portion of the engaging recessed portion, and the punch is withdrawn from the engaging recessed portion without breaking the engaging portion and the cleaning member is reliably engaged with the engaging recessed portion, which is a problem. This prior art head frame without an upper aperture does not solve this problem.
