Detailed Description
In the following description, for purposes of explanation and clarity of construction, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present invention. It will be apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced without the specific details presented. In the present description, the illustrated embodiments and the illustrated samples should be considered as examples, and not as limitations of the invention. That is, the following description and the accompanying drawings provide examples to facilitate understanding, but these examples should not be construed in a limiting sense, because they are merely some embodiments of the present invention, rather than an exhaustive list of all possible implementations of the invention.
Specific embodiments of the present invention will now be described further, which will serve to illustrate various features of the present invention. These examples are intended only to facilitate the understanding of the present invention by those skilled in the art and to further enable those skilled in the art to practice the invention. Therefore, the examples should not be construed as limiting the scope of the invention. Furthermore, references to "an embodiment" in this specification mean that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in connection with the embodiment is within the scope of the invention. Thus, the phrase "an embodiment" in various places throughout this specification is not necessarily all referring to the same embodiment. Furthermore, the particular features, structures, or characteristics may be combined in any suitable manner in one or more embodiments.
Referring to fig. 1 to 3, the present invention provides a multifunctional electronic grinder including a cover 1, a container 2, an electronic base 3, and a connector 4. In some embodiments, these components are removably engaged by snap-fit, threads, magnetic connections, or the like.
The electronics base 3 includes the various electronics components of the grinder, including the motor 31 and associated electronics. The motor 31 drives the blade 32 by means of a drive shaft 33 extending upwardly through the electronic base 3. In some embodiments, the blade 32 is removably connected to the drive shaft 33 so that the blade can be removed for cleaning or replacement. In some embodiments, the blade 32 is removably magnetically coupled to the drive shaft to facilitate manual replacement. This is achieved by a lower joint 34 connected to the drive shaft 33 and an upper joint 35 connected to the blade 32. Each of the lower and upper connectors 34, 35 includes a magnet 36 to provide a magnetic connection. In some embodiments, the motor 31 is secured to the electronics base 3 along with the motor housing 37. The clips 38 secure the motor 31 within the motor housing 37 and the brackets 39 secure the motor housing 37 to the electronics base 3. The blades 32 may have various configurations, two examples of which are shown in FIG. 3.
The connector 4 includes an end clip 41 attached to the bottom of the electronics chassis 3. The slidable connector 42 is disposed between the upper clip 43 and the lower clip 44. In some embodiments, connector 42 includes a universal serial bus port (including any of a variety of USB protocols such as B, Mini-B, Micro-B, USB-C) and is configured to receive power from an external power source (not shown in the illustrations), such as a cell phone with a battery or charger. In other embodiments, connector 42 comprises a lightning connector or other multi-pin or cartridge type power connection known in the art. In some embodiments, the spring housing 45 includes a spring 46, wherein the spring housing 45 spring engages the tab 42 such that the tab 42 is selectively deployable from the housing 4. In some embodiments, microcontroller 47 controls the power flow at connector 42, including in some embodiments, a processor (CPU), memory and control programming of various input and output peripherals. In some embodiments, the microcontroller 47 is in electrical communication with the motor 31 to transfer power from its connector 42 and provide control commands thereto.
In some embodiments, the receptacle 2 is removably mounted to the electronics base 3 by a magnetic connection. The sealing bush 21 and the double-sided pole 22 are used to seal the top of the electronic component housing. The spacer 23 is located on the sealing bush 21 and the retaining clip 24 is located on the spacer 23. Magnets 25 are arranged on either side of the bottom of the container 2. In some embodiments, grommet 26 provides a tight fit between container 2 and electronics base 3. When the container 2 is connected to the electronic base 3, the blades 31 are located inside the container 2 so as to be able to effectively grind and pulverize the material placed in the container.
The top of the container 2 is open and covered by the lid 1. The cover of the grinding machine comprises, in addition to the cover 1, a rotatably mounted cover 11. In some embodiments, the swivel mount cover 11 is rotatably mounted to the cover 1 by a latch 12. In other embodiments, the lid 11 is tightly attached to the lid 1 in a magnetically detachable manner by means of one or more magnets 13 so that it remains closed, and the user can disconnect the magnetic connection by applying sufficient manual force. Thus, the lid 1 can be opened to provide access and egress for material to and from the container 2. In some embodiments, the lid 1 is spring loaded by one or more springs 14 to assist the opening and closing operation. An upper sealing ring 15 is located between the lid 1 and the top of the container 2 to provide a tight seal and fit. A spacer 16 is connected between the lid 1 and the container 2, below the lid 1.
In some embodiments, the grinder may be used not only for grinding and pulverizing, but also for discharging material. In some embodiments, the blade 32 may be configured to act as a grinder when rotated in one direction and a fan when rotated in the other direction, or the same operation may be done depending on whether the lid 11 is open or closed. In some embodiments, the blade 32 includes a fan-like structure to facilitate air flow and to function as an abrasive blade. Thus, the direction of the blade 32 may be reversed to force air out of the chamber and up the lid 1 to assist in expelling the abrasive material from the chamber. However, in other embodiments, the blade may act as both a grinder and a fan when rotated in the same direction, and whether the blade is able to expel material from the chamber depends on whether the lid 11 is open.
In use, a user places the ground material into the container 2 through the open lid 1. The container 2 is secured to the electronic base 3 and the user activates the motor 31 by connecting the connector 42 to a power source (e.g., a smart phone or ac adapter) when the swivel-mounted lid 11 is closed. One or more buttons 310 may be provided on the electronics base and communicate with the microcontroller 47 as a switch for the motor 31. If the user wishes to discharge the material from the container, the rotatably mounted lid 11 is opened and the motor is again activated, in which discharge mode an air flow will be generated, discharging the contents of the container 2 through the lid 1.
The material from which the present mill is made is not particularly limited, but in some embodiments it is recommended that a portion of the container 2 be composed of a transparent material so that the user can easily observe the grinding of the material in the container.
It is apparent that the present invention provides a convenient and compact electronic grinder that can effectively grind a small amount of herbs such as tobacco, hemp, herbal medicine, spices, etc. for smoking or other uses. Furthermore, the use of a magnetic shaft connector between the blade 31 and the drive shaft 33 provides a simple and convenient method of using the same or different types of blades, and removing for cleaning or replacement, depending on the user preference and the target material to be comminuted.
