Referring to fig. 1 to 3, the plug assembly of the present application, which may be used for plugging into a socket (not shown), includes a plug 1 and an attachment 2 connected to the plug 1. The socket comprises at least two plug sites (not shown) that can be plugged with the plug 1. The attachment 2 can be assembled to the plug 1 or be integrally formed with the plug 1. When the plug assembly is plugged into a plug position, the additional piece 2 occupies the space of the adjacent plug position on the socket, and another plug 1 cannot be plugged into the adjacent plug position. The plug 1 comprises an insulating body 10, a metal plug 11 and a connecting wire 12 which are fixed together. The insulating body 10 includes a main body 101 and an inclined portion 102 extending from the main body 101. The inclined portion 102 includes a second end 1022 connected to the main body portion 101 and a first end 1021 opposite the second end 1022. The cross-sectional area of the second end 1022 is greater than the cross-sectional area of the first end 1021. The inclined portion 102 is gradually reduced from the second end 1022 to the first end 1021. The plug 11 is exposed from the main body 101 to be plugged into the socket. The body portion 101 includes a pair of recesses 1010 extending rearwardly from an end adjacent the plug 11.

In the illustrated embodiment, the attachment 2 is circular, and the shape of the attachment 2 is not limited in this application, and the shape of the attachment 2 may be set according to actual needs. The first attachment member 20 includes a first base portion 201, a fixing portion 202 extending from the first base portion 201, a first sidewall 203, a plurality of limiting blocks 204, and a plurality of through holes 205 disposed on the first base portion 201. The fixing portion 202 is provided to the inclined portion 102. The fixing portion 202 includes a first assembling hole 2020 for the first end 1021 to pass through. The first assembly hole 2020 has an area smaller than a cross-sectional area of the second end 1022 to prevent further movement of the first tailpiece 20.

The second attachment 22 includes a second base 221 disposed corresponding to the first base 201, a second assembling hole 222 disposed on the second base 221, and a second sidewall 223 and a plurality of fixing posts 224 extending from the second base 221. The first base portion 201 and the second base portion 221 sandwich a portion of the insulating body 10 to fix the attachment 2 to the header 1.

The plug assembly includes a plurality of holders (not shown) passing through the through holes 205 and fixed to the fixing posts 222 to fix the first attachment 20 to the second attachment 22. The retainers may be screws or the like. The stopper 204 is located at the inner side of the second side wall 223 to guide the assembly of the second attachment member 22, facilitate the assembly, and can limit the second attachment member 22 and the first attachment member 20. The stop block 204 may also be disposed on the second appendage 22. The first sidewall 203 abuts against the second sidewall 223. The second assembling hole 222 is for the main body 101 of the plug 1 to pass through.

The second attachment 22 further includes an abutting portion 225 assembled to the groove 1010 of the plug 1 and abutting against the inclined portion 102. When the attachment 2 is assembled to the plug 1, the abutting portion 225 abuts against the inclined portion 102 of the plug 1, and the second end 1022 of the plug 1 abuts against the movement of the fixing portion 202, so that the attachment 2 is limited to the plug 1. When the attachment 2 is to be removed, the screw is removed and the first attachment 20 and the second attachment 22 are removed by moving the first attachment 20 and the second attachment 22 away from each other.

In the illustrated embodiment, the through hole 205 is disposed on the first attachment 20 and the fixing post 222 is disposed on the second attachment 22, and in another embodiment, the through hole 205 is disposed on the second attachment 22 and the fixing post 222 is disposed on the first attachment 20. In addition to using a retainer, the first appendage 20 and the second appendage 22 can be secured together by, for example, a snap fit.

After the plug assembly is plugged into the plugging position of the socket, the area occupied by the plug 1 by the additional piece 2 is increased, so that other plugs cannot be plugged, namely, the socket can only be plugged with one plug 1, the condition that the socket is simultaneously plugged with a plurality of plugs to cause overload is prevented, and the safety of the use of an electric appliance is ensured, for example, when the socket comprises two plugging positions, the distance between the two plugs 1 after being plugged into the plugging positions is approximately 3 mm, and when the additional piece 2 extends from the plug 1 by more than 3 mm, the other plug 1 cannot be plugged into the plugging positions due to interference with the additional piece 2; the additional piece 2 can also be enlarged to cover other plugging positions of the socket, so that the other plug 1 can not be plugged, and the situation that the user forcibly plugs other plugs and damages the plug 1 or the socket due to excessive force is avoided.

The additional piece 2 can also be a protruding part integrally extending from the insulating body 10 of the plug 1 towards other plug sites to increase the area of the plug 1 occupying the socket; or the convex part covers other plugging positions of the socket, so that the other plug 1 cannot be plugged.

The multipurpose pot of the present application includes a pot (not shown) and a pot lid (not shown) covering the pot. The pan or the pot cover includes plug subassembly, in order to prevent the pan with the pot cover is connected to simultaneously the socket leads to the overload condition, guarantees the security that electrical apparatus used. The pot cover is an air fryer pot cover, and when the pot cover is inserted into the socket, the multipurpose pot is used as an air fryer; when the pan is plugged into the socket, the pan can be matched with another kind of pot cover, so that the multipurpose pan can be used as a common electric cooker or a pressure cooker.

Claims (12)

1. A plug assembly, characterized by, including the plug and be connected to the annex of plug, the plug includes insulator and is used for the plug connector of conduction to the insulator, the plug assembly can be used to plug to one of them grafting position of the socket that has a plurality of grafting positions, the annex occupies the space of adjacent grafting position on the socket, makes the socket can't supply another plug to insert this adjacent grafting position.

2. The plug assembly of claim 1, wherein the appendage is integrally formed with or assembled to the dielectric body.

3. The plug assembly of claim 1, wherein said appendage includes a first appendage and a second appendage assembled to said dielectric body, said first appendage and said second appendage being secured together and clamped to said dielectric body to thereby secure said appendages to said plug.

4. The plug assembly of claim 3, wherein said first appendage and said second appendage are folded together from a direction perpendicular to a plug mating direction to grip said dielectric body.

5. The plug assembly of claim 3, wherein the housing includes a main portion and an angled portion extending from the main portion, the plug member exposing the main portion, the first appendage including a securing portion sleeved to the angled portion and a first base portion extending from the securing portion, the first base portion increasing an area of the receptacle occupied by the plug assembly.

6. The plug assembly of claim 5, wherein said second appendage includes a second base portion disposed in correspondence with said first base portion, said first and second base portions sandwiching a portion of said insulative body to secure said appendage to said plug.

7. The plug assembly of claim 6, wherein one of the first and second base portions is provided with a through hole, the other is provided with a fixing post corresponding to the through hole, and the attachment includes a retainer passing through the through hole and fixed to the fixing post to secure the first attachment to the second attachment.

8. The plug assembly of claim 5, wherein the body portion includes a recess extending rearwardly from an end adjacent the plug member, and the second appendage includes an abutment portion positioned within the recess and abutting the angled portion to retain the second appendage.

9. The plug assembly of claim 5, wherein the first attachment member includes a first sidewall, the second attachment member includes a second sidewall abutting the first sidewall, and one of the first attachment member and the second attachment member includes a stop to guide the assembly of the first sidewall or the second sidewall.

10. A plug assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 9, wherein the appendage covers all other plug sites of the socket, such that the socket can only plug one of the plugs.

11. The plug assembly of any one of claims 1 to 9, wherein the appendage increases an area of the plug assembly that occupies the receptacle in a circumferential direction of the plug.

12. A multipurpose pot comprising a pot and a lid for placing on the pot, the pot or lid comprising the plug assembly of any one of claims 1 to 11 to prevent the pot and lid from being connected to the socket at the same time.
