Based on the embodiments in the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by a person skilled in the art without creative efforts belong to the protection scope of the present invention.
Fig. 1 and 3 are perspective views of a drain valve body according to an embodiment of the present invention, fig. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of the drain valve body of fig. 1, and fig. 4 is an exploded perspective view of the drain valve body according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1-4, the drain valve body includes a pump housing 1, a cover assembly, and a drain pipe 2. Fig. 5 shows a perspective view of a closure assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 5, the closure assembly comprises a closure 3 and an inner support 4.
The pump housing 1 includes a cavity 11, a fluid inlet 12, a fluid outlet 13, and a housing opening 14, the housing opening 14 being for communicating the cavity 11 of the pump housing 1 with the outside of the apparatus in a state where the discharge valve body is mounted to the apparatus such as a washing machine in place. The pump shell 1 is matched with a pump motor and connected to other related drainage equipment, and is an important part for regulating the flow and the efficiency of the drainage motor. The cover 3 is attached to the pump housing 1 to cover the housing opening 14. Specifically, the cover 3 may be connected to the pump housing 1 by a threaded connection portion 32. A seal may be provided between the cover 3 and the pump housing 1 to achieve a good seal. The inner support 4 is fixed to the cover 3 and is housed within the cavity 11 of the pump housing 1.
Fig. 6 is a perspective view of a closure 3 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The cap 3 is provided with a cap cover plate 31, a connecting portion 32, a drain hole 33, and a cap peripheral wall 34 extending from the cap cover plate 31. The cover lid 31 is a main body of the cover 3 for covering the housing opening 14. The lid peripheral wall 34 is an annular wall perpendicular to the lid cover plate 31 and forms a lid cavity together with the lid cover plate 31. The connecting portion 32 may be partially provided on the outer wall surface of the cover peripheral wall 34. As previously mentioned, the connection portion 32 may be a threaded connection portion.
The closure 3 is furthermore provided with a handle 35, the handle 35 being fixed to the closure lid 31. The handle 35 may be configured in an easily screwed shape for screwing the cover 3 to screw the cover 3 to and/or from the pump housing 1 via the connection portion 32. The handle 35 may be configured in an elongated shape, and both ends of the opposite wider outer sidewall surfaces of the handle 35 may be configured in an outwardly protruding arc shape. When screwing in and unscrewing the sealing cover component through the handle, the unscrewing torque is also large because the stress area of the handle is small, so that the fingers slip easily, the sealing cover component cannot be unscrewed, and even the slip is generated, so that the hands are injured. The arcuate configuration is beneficial to preventing slippage when manually operating the closure 3 and improves operator comfort. In addition, other handle 35 configurations may be used in the present invention, such as an ergonomically designed handle 35 configuration.
When the drainage of the washing machine or the dish washer is abnormal and needs to be maintained, or the foreign matters in the drainage valve body are blocked excessively and need to be cleaned, the handle 35 can be screwed so as to detach the sealing cover assembly comprising the sealing cover 3 from the drainage valve body together, and the foreign matters in the drainage valve body can be cleaned.
In addition, the cover 3 is provided with a drain hole 33, a hole wall 36 extending outwardly from said drain hole 33, and a positioning peripheral wall 37 surrounding the hole wall 36 and extending outwardly coaxially with the hole wall 36. In this embodiment, both the port wall 36 and the positioning peripheral wall 37 extend outwardly perpendicular to the plane of the drain port 33. When emergency drainage is required, water in the washing machine may be drained through the drain hole 33. An insertion groove 38 into which the drain pipe 2 is inserted is formed between the orifice wall 36 and the positioning peripheral wall 37. The drain pipe 2 may be inserted into the insertion groove 38 to be connected and communicated to the drain hole 33. The shape of the drain aperture 33 is preferably, but not limited to, circular, which may be other shapes as desired, for example, elliptical, and the cross-sectional shapes of the aperture wall 36 and the positioning peripheral wall 37 are preferably, but not limited to, circular.
The drain aperture 33 is provided in the cover 3 rather than elsewhere on the pump housing 1 or the like. Preferably, the drain orifice 33 may be provided in the handle. In this way, the drain hole 33 is provided in or near the handle 35, the length of the drain pipe 2 is shortened, cost is saved, and the provision of the drain hole 33 in the cover 3 (specifically, in or near the handle 35) does not interfere with the emergency draining operation by the user, and is also aesthetically pleasing. In addition, the drain pipe 2 does not need to pass through a panel hole of a shell of equipment such as a washing machine and a dish washing machine, so that the corresponding shell does not need to be provided with a mounting hole, and when an equipment manufacturer installs the drain valve and the drain motor to the corresponding equipment, the drain pipe 2 does not need to pass through the panel hole and other operations, so that the installation procedures of the equipment manufacturer are reduced, and the efficiency of an equipment production line is improved.
As described above, the drain pipe 2 may be inserted into the insertion groove 38 to be connected and communicated to the drain hole 33. The drain pipe 2 is flexible and elastic, for example, it may be a rubber pipe. The drain pipe 2 is not easily deformed completely to affect the drainage effect. The drain pipe 2 is an interference fit with at least a portion of the orifice wall 36, and the drain pipe 2 is an interference fit with at least a portion of the positioning peripheral wall 37.
Fig. 7 is an enlarged view of the portion within the circle shown in fig. 6, showing a partial enlarged view of the orifice wall 36 and the positioning peripheral wall 37. The positioning peripheral wall 37 may be directly connected to the handle 35, or the positioning peripheral wall 37 may be integral with the handle 35, as it were. As shown in fig. 2, 7 and 10, the outer end face of the orifice wall 36 is farther from the plane of the drain orifice 33 than the outer end face of the positioning peripheral wall 37. Specifically, the difference H between the distance from the outer end face of the orifice wall 36 to the plane in which the drain orifice 33 is located and the distance from the outer end face of the positioning peripheral wall 37 to the plane in which the drain orifice 33 is located is preferably 5 to 15mm, more preferably 10 mm. The outer end face of the positioning peripheral wall 37 is then preferably at a distance of 10mm from the plane of the drain opening 33. A first guide taper 361 is provided at the outside of the outer end portion of the orifice wall 36, and a second guide taper 371 is provided at the inside of the outer end portion of the positioning peripheral wall 37. The first guide taper 361 is designed such that the wall thickness of the orifice wall 36 gradually decreases as the orifice wall 36 extends outward from the drain orifice 33. The second guide taper 371 is designed such that the aperture diameter of the positioning peripheral wall 37 gradually increases as the positioning peripheral wall 37 extends outward. The first and second guide tapers 361 and 371 allow the drain pipe 2 to be more easily inserted into the insertion groove 38, facilitating manual installation of the drain pipe. Referring to fig. 2 and 7, at least a portion of the first guide cone 361 has an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the drain pipe 2 to facilitate easy sleeving of the drain pipe 2 outside the orifice wall 36. The outer diameter of the orifice wall 36 is larger than the inner diameter of the drain pipe 2 to expand the flexible drain pipe 2 and produce interference fit with the drain pipe 2, so that the drain pipe 2 is not easy to fall off. The orifice wall 36 may be tapered with at least a lower portion having an outer diameter greater than the inner diameter of the drain pipe 2. Referring to fig. 2 and 7, the positioning peripheral wall 37 has a notch 372 extending in a longitudinal direction, and at least a portion of the second guide taper 371 has a hole diameter larger than an outer diameter of the drain pipe 2 for guiding the drain pipe 2 when the drain pipe 2 is inserted into the insertion groove 38.
Fig. 8 is a plan view of the cap 3 according to the embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 9 is an enlarged view of a portion within a circle shown in fig. 8. As shown in fig. 8 and 9, a plurality of first protrusions 373 are provided at the inner wall of the positioning peripheral wall 37, and the protruding ends of the plurality of first protrusions 373 form inscribed circles having a diameter smaller than or equal to the outer diameter of the drain pipe 2. The first protrusion 373 may be elongated (i.e., a through-bar shape, such as a through-bar shape extending in a direction in which the positioning peripheral wall 37 extends), or dot-like, or segment-like, a plurality of segments extending in a direction in which the positioning peripheral wall 37 extends, or other configurations. The plurality of first projections 373 are not essential, and the inner diameter of the positioning peripheral wall 37 may be smaller than the outer diameter of the drain pipe 2 without the plurality of first projections 373.
The notch 372 of the positioning peripheral wall 37 facilitates releasing the amount of deformation so that the positioning peripheral wall 37 is not easily cracked when the drain pipe 2 is accommodated in the positioning peripheral wall 37. And the operator can easily observe the insertion of the drain pipe 2 into the insertion groove 38 through the notch 372, for example, whether or not it is inserted in place. In addition, the notch 372 can also facilitate the extraction and the sleeve connection of the drain pipe 2. A plurality of first bulges 373 are favorable to increasing the compression to drain pipe 2 external diameter, make drain pipe 2 be difficult for droing to satisfying under the condition to the pressure of the drain pipe 2 that cup joints, making and cup jointing the resistance minimum, be favorable to the operator to install, reduce intensity of labour.
The handle 35 is provided with an elongated catch 351 for receiving at least a portion (e.g. a middle portion) of the drain pipe 2 and holding it extending parallel to the cover lid 31. In the perspective view shown in fig. 1, the drain pipe 2 is received in the catching groove 351, and in the perspective view shown in fig. 3, the drain pipe 2 is not yet received in the catching groove 351. Fig. 10 is a longitudinal sectional view of the cap 3 according to the embodiment of the present invention, fig. 11 is another longitudinal sectional view of the cap 3 according to the embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 12 is an enlarged view of a portion within a circle shown in fig. 11. As shown in fig. 10, the bottom of the card slot 351 is provided with a plurality of drain supporting parts 352 for supporting the drain pipe 2 received in the card slot 351. As shown in fig. 10, 11 and 12, the outermost end of the side wall of the catching groove 351 is further provided with a drain guide 353 for guiding the drain pipe 2 into the catching groove 351. In addition, a pair of second protrusions 354 protruding inward are provided on an inner side wall surface of the locking groove 351, and a distance between protruding ends of the pair of second protrusions 354 is smaller than an outer diameter of the drain pipe 2, so that the drain pipe 2 is held in the locking groove 351 (i.e., locked to the locking groove 351) to prevent the drain pipe 2 from rebounding. The second protruding portion 354 is in a dot shape, a segment shape, or a full length shape. Through the fixation of the drain pipe 2, the impact noise caused by the drain pipe 2 when the equipment such as a washing machine, a dish washing machine and the like is in operation is favorably eliminated. This fixing is simple and easy for the operator of the device manufacturer to operate.
As shown in fig. 10, the handle 35 extends beyond the closure peripheral wall 34 to extend out of the cavity of the closure 3 by a distance U. In other embodiments, the outermost end surface of the handle 35 may be flush with the closure peripheral wall 34. In this way, one end of the drain pipe 2 is connected to the drain opening 33, the middle portion of which is received and held in the catch 351 of the handle 35, while the other end of the drain pipe 2 can be received elsewhere in the cover chamber, for example, coiled in the cover chamber (e.g., coiled around the handle 35), without protruding out of the cover 3 chamber, so that the drain pipe 2 is more firmly, more simply and aesthetically fixed.
Furthermore, in other embodiments, a retaining structure other than the catch 351 of the handle 35 may be provided in the cover 3 to retain at least a portion of the drain pipe 2 to extend parallel to the cover lid 31.
The drain valve body is designed such that the drain port 33 is located close to the bottom of the washing machine relative to the handle 35 when the drain valve body is mounted in place on the washing machine. The drain port 33 is positioned on the long axis of the catch 351. In this way, when mounting the drain valve body to the washing machine and connecting the cover 3 assembly to the pump housing 1, the operator can easily mount the drain aperture 33 to be located closest to the bottom of the washing machine to facilitate draining of water or dirt, improving drain rate, as shown in fig. 13-15.
As shown in fig. 1, 3, 4, one end of the drain pipe 2 is connected to the drain hole 33, and the other end of the drain pipe 2 is provided with a sealing plug 21 detachably covering the opening at the other end of the drain pipe 2, the sealing plug 21 being adapted to be inserted into the drain pipe 2 to close off the other end of the drain pipe 2. The drain pipe 2 further comprises a sealing plug connection 22, the sealing plug 21 being connected to the drain pipe 2 by means of the flexible sealing plug connection 22 to prevent the sealing plug 21 from being lost. The sealing plug 21 may be made of a hard material, and the sealing plug 21 may be provided with a third protrusion 23, such as a plurality of annular ribs. The drain pipe 2 can be made of soft elastic material. The cooperation of the materials of different hardness further facilitates the extraction and insertion of the sealing plug 21. The third bulge 23 contributes to an improved sealing effect of the sealing plug 21.
The scope of the present invention is defined not by the above-described embodiments but by the appended claims and equivalents thereof.
