艾灸是中医一种常用的技术操作，是利用艾条在燃烧的过程中产生的红外线温热作用，使人体皮肤毛窍、穴位打开，继而使艾条的药物作用渗透入经络，达到治疗与预防疾病的外
治方法。可应用于治疗、护理、养生、保健、美容等领域；目前常用艾灸罐采用木质或玻璃材料制成，保温耐热性能差，且艾条固定麻烦。

艾灸罐采用紫砂制成，紫砂艾灸罐与常规的木质或玻璃材料制成的艾灸罐相比具有保温性好、其特有的双重透气孔利于传导艾柱燃烧产生的红外线和药烟、坚固耐用、安全性高、高温不会分解有毒害物质等特点，艾灸条固定在艾条固定架，通过艾条固定架上的4个圆柱体中间的空隙将艾灸条镶锲固定在罐盖上，点燃艾灸条，将附有点燃艾灸条的罐盖覆盖在罐体上，通过换气孔保持燃烧所需氧气，将罐体底部的出气孔放置在艾灸对应穴位部位实现艾灸治疗。让艾灸借助紫砂治疗保健效果大为提升，让传统中医艾灸发扬光大。
