现场使用时，将装置放置到合适位置，然后先将旋转杆1旋转开，和支撑杆9一块穿过栏杆，然后气囊3将会遇热膨胀，通过气囊3内的二氧化碳加热反应产生的气体使气囊3膨胀，然后将旋转杆1向里旋转，调节紧固螺钉6，对旋转杆1进行固定，然后使用者在连接链7上固定需要攀爬的绳索进行攀爬，通过装置上的警示灯5，将会提醒消防人员，对使用者进行快速救援，保证了使用者的安全。
