使用时，将所需敲碎的坚果放置在基座内，将基座放置在破碎器本体同把手围成的空间内，用一只手固定把手，另一只手通过拉手将破碎器本体拉长，松开拉手后在弹簧的作用下拉手快速的砸向基座上的坚果，将坚果敲碎，过程更加有趣，更能满足人们的需求。
