针织面料常以棉、涤纶、锦纶、维纶、丙纶、合纤长丝等为原料通过针织机编织而成，它具有质地柔软、吸湿透气、优良的弹性与延伸性。针织服装穿着舒适、贴身和体、无拘紧感、能充分体现人体曲线。但这种面料由于编织不紧实，质地过于柔软，不挺括，因此一般不能作为高档外套的服装面料。而对于用普通的梭织机制成的呢绒面料虽然可以织造高档的毛料，但由于它们用经纬线织造的，因此图案简单，只能是长条形或方形或三角形的条子或格子，如千鸟格等，图案不复杂、不漂亮，花样少。

本实用新型是提供一种手感柔软、质地紧实、单位面积的重量轻、表面挺括，花色多样，毛感丰富的仿毛呢针织面料。
为了达到上述要求，本实用新型是这样实现的：它是用DTY低弹丝作为纬纱织成底布，其特征是在纬纱中织入有用棉纤维或化学纤维或动物纤维或它们任何几种的混合纤维制成的毛条纤维，并将该毛条纤维弯曲成U形，固定在纬纱中，制成表面为毛条纤维的面料。
按此结构织造的仿毛呢针织面料，它保留了针织面料的特性，在纬编过程中送入预先设计好颜色的毛条纤维，并且在纬编过程中将毛条纤维的两端固定在纬纱织造的底布上，并且纤维的折弯这面作为面料的正面。由此织造的面料，表面光滑、平整、挺括，不容易掉毛。并且在不同织造部位通过计算机控制，送出不同颜色的毛条纤维供编织，可以织造出各种复杂的颜色和图案。另外，在纬编时只要用毛条的形式提供编织，省去了普通梭织机经、纬线必须将毛条制成纱线后才能进行织造的要求，简化了纺织工艺，降低了制造成本，由于在针织以毛条的形式提供，并且毛条纤维在面料的表面，因此其毛感特别丰富类似纯毛呢面料，适合做各类服装。

图1、图2是仿毛呢针织面料的结构示意图。从图中看出，它是在纬编圆机上在用DTY低弹丝（涤纶低弹丝）作为纬纱1织成底布，在底布针织时，在纬纱1中通过计算机控制，在纬编圆机的周围放上需要颜色的毛条纤维2，该毛条纤维2是用棉纤维或化学纤维或动物纤维或它们任何几种的混合纤维制成的。根据图案设计的需要，在纬编织造时送入，将毛条纤维2的一端固定，同时，通过反向吹风，将毛条纤维2的另一端吹成弯曲，成U形，在下一行的织造时将该弯头的毛条纤维2编织在纬纱1中固定，使得表面为浓密的毛条纤维2，并且根据送入毛条纤维2的品种、颜色和位置可以形成色彩多样、毛感丰富，图案随意的仿毛呢针织面料。
