如图1和图2所示，本实用新型提供的自动修甲刀挡屑装置包括刀头座1、互相连接的齿形刀片2和连接头3，刀头座1和连接头3通过固定轴4连接，刀头座1对应齿形刀片2处设有指甲口5，刀头座1内固定有软胶挡片6，软胶挡片6下部抵在指甲口5处，刀头座1内设有多个立柱7，软胶挡片6上设有多个与所述立柱7匹配的通孔8，软胶挡片6挂在立柱7上并通过烫压立柱7使软胶挡片6固定在刀头座上，软胶挡片6通孔8到底端的距离小于指甲口5到齿形刀片2的距离，软胶挡片6下部均匀布设有多条开口9。
在本实施例中，当手指甲从指甲口5伸进去时，软胶挡片6下部会往里弯曲，由于软胶挡片6通孔8到底端的距离小于指甲口5到齿形刀片2的距离，使得软胶挡片6不会碰到齿形刀片2，而指甲没有碰到软胶挡片6的部分依然会挡住指甲口5，使指甲粉屑不会向外飞出，当修完指甲把指甲拿出来时，软胶挡片6会向外复位挡住指甲口5，从而又挡住指甲粉屑。
