家具柜体由柜身、柜门、抽屉、柜柱、底座、柜顶组成，其中柜柱、柜顶都是一个独立的整体。为了体现家具的可定制功能，于是根据个人喜好设计出了顶线、罗马柱、柱头等构件，这些构件将柜柱、柜顶分隔成若干零件后，再组装成独立的整体。使用新式构件，起到装饰家具的作用，展现法式、美式、新古典家具效果。由于家具柜体安放的空间位置复杂多变，在一些角落或死角处，现有的构件尚存在与空间不协调的情况，如家具柜体的罗马柱均为实木雕刻的成品，结构复杂，成本高，拆装过程不方便。

如图1所示，罗马柱与侧板组合构件由罗马柱1和侧板2构成，罗马柱与侧板的材料为PVC。
罗马柱1设置有凹槽11，其还延伸出包边12。侧板2由内侧板23、外侧板21和固定板22组成，固定板22被夹于内侧板23与外侧板21之间且向外突出。
将侧板2的固定板22插入罗马柱1的凹槽11中，便完成安装，罗马柱的包边12刚好覆盖侧板2的外侧板21。
