一种用于LED照明器的短路保护电路
技术领域
本实用新型涉及一种用于LED照明器的短路保护电路。 
背景技术
传统的带纹波LED恒流驱动方案,如图1所示,包括输入电流源10,滤波电容C1,LED灯串,功率管M1,运算放大器20和电流检测电阻R1;输入电流源10的输出正端和滤波电容C1的正极接LED灯串阳极,输出负端和滤波电容C1的负极接地,LED灯串阴极接功率管M1的漏极,功率管M1的栅极接运算放大器20的输出端,功率管M1的源极和运算放大器20的反相输入端通过电流检测电阻R1接地,运算放大器20的同相输入端接给定的基准电压V1。此方案中,当LED灯串发生短路,功率管M1漏极和源极之间的电压等于输入电流源10的输出电压,电流等于正常工作的电流,功率管M1上承受的功耗很大,会导致功率管M1因过热而损坏。
发明内容
本实用新型提供了一种能保护功率管不受损坏的用于LED照明器的短路保护电路。
本实用新型采用的技术方案是:
一种用于LED照明器的短路保护电路,包括输入电流源、滤波电容、LED灯串、功率管、运算放大器和电流检测电阻,所述输入电流源的输出正端和滤波电容的正极接LED灯串阳极,其输出负端和滤波电容的负极接地,所述LED灯串阴极接功率管的漏极,所述功率管的栅极接运算放大器的输出端,其源极和运算放大器的反相输入端通过电流检测电阻接地,所述运算放大器的同相输入端接给定的基准电压,其特征在于:所述功率管的漏极与电压比较器的同相输入端连接,所述电压比较器的反相输入端与设定的阈值电压连接,其输出端与开关器的控制端连接,所述开关器连接在功率管的栅极和地之间。
进一步,所述电压比较器的输出端与开关器的控制端之间连接有延时用的计时器。
本实用新型通过检测功率管的漏极电压来判断LED灯串是否短路,短路时迅速将功率管关闭,当短路故障解除后能够使LED驱动电路恢复正常工作;在原有LED驱动电路的基础上,增加了一个电压比较器和开关器,电压比较器的反相输入端接设定的阈值电压,同相输入端接功率管的漏极,输出端控制开关器,此开关器连接功率管的栅极和地。当LED负载短路时,功率管的漏极电压瞬间升高,超过设定的阈值电压,此时判断LED负载短路,电压比较器输出高电平,使开关器导通,将功率管的栅极短接到地,使功率管截止。当LED灯串短路故障解除,功率管的漏极电压降低到阈值电压以下,电压比较器输出低电平,使功率管恢复正常工作。
还可以在电压比较器的输出端接计时器,当检测到功率管的漏极电压高于阈值电压后,启动计时器,经过一段时间延时后将开关器导通,使功率管截止。计时器输出一定周期和脉冲宽度的脉冲信号,使功率管每隔一段时间重新工作,并再次检测LED是否短路。
本实用新型的有益效果:能够在LED灯串发生短路时迅速将功率管关闭,以保护功率管不被短路时产生的功耗损坏。

具体实施方式
下面结合具体实施例来对本实用新型进行进一步说明,但并不将本实用新型局限于这些具体实施方式。本领域技术人员应该认识到,本实用新型涵盖了权利要求书范围内所可能包括的所有备选方案、改进方案和等效方案。
实施例一
参照图2,一种用于LED照明器的短路保护电路,包括输入电流源10、滤波电容C1、LED灯串、功率管M1、运算放大器20和电流检测电阻R1,所述输入电流源10的输出正端和滤波电容C1的正极接LED灯串阳极,其输出负端和滤波电容C1的负极接地,所述LED灯串阴极接功率管M1的漏极,所述功率管M1的栅极接运算放大器20的输出端,其源极和运算放大器20的反相输入端通过电流检测电阻R1接地,所述运算放大器20的同相输入端接给定的基准电压V1,所述功率管M1的漏极与电压比较器30的同相输入端连接,所述电压比较器30的反相输入端与设定的阈值电压V2连接,其输出端与开关器40的控制端连接,所述开关器40连接在功率管M1的栅极和地之间。
本实用新型通过检测功率管M1的漏极电压来判断LED灯串是否短路,短路时迅速将功率管M1关闭,当短路故障解除后能够使LED驱动电路恢复正常工作;在原有LED驱动电路的基础上,增加了一个电压比较器30和开关器40,电压比较器30的反相输入端接设定的阈值电压V2,同相输入端接功率管M1的漏极,输出端控制开关器40,此开关器40连接功率管M1的栅极和地。当LED负载短路时,功率管M1的漏极电压瞬间升高,超过设定的阈值电压V2,此时判断LED负载短路,电压比较器30输出高电平,使开关器40导通,将功率管M1的栅极短接到地,使功率管M1截止。当LED灯串短路故障解除,功率管M1的漏极电压降低到阈值电压V2以下,电压比较器30输出低电平,使功率管M1恢复正常工作。
本实施例中的运算放大器20可以用于恒流控制,也可以用于多路均流控制,电流的消除电路等。功率管M1可以是三极管或MOS管,可以用NPN型三极管(N型MOS管)或PNP型三极管(P型MOS管)。功率管M1可以与LED灯串位置互换,当功率管M1接输入电流源10的输出电压正极时,需要使用PMOS管。
实施例二
参照图3,本实施例与实施例一的不同之处在于所述电压比较器30的输出端与开关器40的控制端之间连接有延时用的计时器。在电压比较器30的输出端接计时器,当检测到功率管M1的漏极电压高于阈值电压V2后,启动计时器,经过一段时间延时后将开关器40导通,使功率管M1截止。计时器输出一定周期和脉冲宽度的脉冲信号,使功率管M1每隔一段时间重新工作,并再次检测LED是否短路。其余结构和功能均与实施例一相同。

Claims (2)

1. 一种用于LED照明器的短路保护电路,包括输入电流源、滤波电容、LED灯串、功率管、运算放大器和电流检测电阻,所述输入电流源的输出正端和滤波电容的正极接LED灯串阳极,其输出负端和滤波电容的负极接地,所述LED灯串阴极接功率管的漏极,所述功率管的栅极接运算放大器的输出端,其源极和运算放大器的反相输入端通过电流检测电阻接地,所述运算放大器的同相输入端接给定的基准电压,其特征在于:所述功率管的漏极与电压比较器的同相输入端连接,所述电压比较器的反相输入端与设定的阈值电压连接,其输出端与开关器的控制端连接,所述开关器连接在功率管的栅极和地之间。
2. 根据权利要求1所述的一种用于LED照明器的短路保护电路,其特征在于:所述电压比较器的输出端与开关器的控制端之间连接有延时用的计时器。
