该防刮掉棒球帽内设有发卡5，戴帽子之前先把发卡5别在头发上，帽子不会被风刮下来。如果风过大，发卡5不足以固定帽子时，或者佩戴者是光头，无法利用发卡5，可打开固定扣7，将帽带4拉下放在脖颈上，直到固定作用，避免帽子被吹走。
