本实用新型的目的是这样实现的：该精神病人体温检测辅助器包括弹性肢体套、弹性橡胶圈、固定带，弹性肢体套外侧上下两端分别固定连接着相互对称的弹性橡胶圈，弹性橡胶圈内径小于体温计外径；与弹性橡胶圈相对应的弹性肢体套另一侧外壁上连有固定带，固定带两端分别设有相互对称的粘接丝。 
使用时，在弹性橡胶圈内插入体温计，然后将弹性肢体套套入患者上肢并使体温计水银头放置在患者腋窝内，最后用固定带将患者上肢粘接固定在患者胸部。 
本实用新型的优点：结构简单，使用方便，在给精神病人进行体温测量时，能对体温计固定牢固，防止精神病人上肢乱动，保证检测结果的准确性。
