如图1所示，一种雨水收集系统，包括收集口1、收集箱2，其中所述收集口1为倒锥形，收集口1与收集箱2通过管道3相连，所述收集箱2上设有液位计4，在收集箱2上面设有维护入口5，在收集箱2侧面上端设有溢流口6，所述溢流口6与排水管7相连，侧面下端设有出口8，所述出口8上安装有开关9，该出口9通过过滤器10与下水管道11相连，所述下水管道11与用户生活用水进口12相通。
雨季来临，雨水通过收集口1，进入收集箱2，当收集箱2收集满雨水时，雨水顺溢流口6通过排水管7流往地下，收集箱2侧面下端的出口8开关9平时为开启状态，雨水通过过滤器10过滤进入用户家中，可用来洗衣和冲洗厕所，当收集箱2使用时间较长，过滤器10被堵塞较严重时，关闭开关9，将过滤器10冲洗干净，重复使用，同时观察液位计4，当收集箱2中雨水剩余较少时，可打开收集箱2上端维护入口5，人员可进入收集箱2清洗。
