背景技术  公共座椅作为一种在公共场所为人们提供休憩空间的设备十分必要。原有公共座椅的基本结构大致是矩形座板的四角下面分别设有与其垂直相连的支撑腿，它的不足之处是：座椅的长度固定，无法满足多人同时就座的需求。
发明内容  本实用新型的目的在于提供一种可伸缩的公共座椅。
本实用新型主要包括有就座机构、支撑腿、支撑板、连杆和支座。其中就座机构的四角下面分别设有与其垂直相连的支撑腿，支撑腿之间设有连杆，所述就座机构为两对应侧面开口的壳体，就座机构的一内壁上靠近端边处设有两条相平行的凸棱，截面呈直角的倒L形支撑板的竖直部分的端部固接水平的支座，倒L形支撑板的水平部分的下表面靠近端边处设有两条相平行的条形凹槽滑道，该凹槽滑道与凸棱构成滑动副。
本实用新型在使用时，当有多人需要就座时，由凹槽滑道与凸棱构成的滑动副可使L形支撑板展开，不用时将其合拢，减少座椅占用的面积。
本实用新型与现有技术相比具有如下优点：①结构简单，既不影响座椅的正常使用，又能增大人们的就座空间；②设计合理，实用性强。
