使用时，将盒体平放，使蛋液加入口朝上，将蛋液倒入（注意：蛋液的加入量应使其平放时，不会从蛋液出口流出为宜），蛋液聚集在盒体的另一侧。当向锅内洒蛋液时，将其倾斜，使蛋液慢慢进入椎体，并通过椎体底部的狭长的蛋液出口撒入锅内，便能打出薄薄的蛋花来。
