由于灯杆是由不锈钢材料制成，因此，灯杆不容易生锈，可避免日打雨淋而影响灯杆的使用寿命，通过在灯杆顶端设有防水外罩，所述照明灯具安装在防水外罩内，因此，避免照明灯具被雨淋和日晒，从而，本实用新型使用寿命长并且避免照明灯具被雨淋日晒。通过在照明灯具内设有LED光源，根据LED的特性可知本实用新型比采用传统灯泡更加节能，即本实用新型的节能效果好。另外，通过设置图案装饰牌具有装饰效果，避免路灯过于枯燥，为室外安装路灯的地方增加美感。本实用新型结构简单。
