如图1所示，它是由挂钩1、支撑杆2、卡环3、撑衣杆4组成，挂钩左右两侧有撑衣杆，挂钩与左右撑衣杆铰链连接，支撑杆两端有卡环，卡环套接在撑衣杆上，支撑杆可在撑衣架上滑动，撑衣杆下面有卡槽，支撑杆两端有凸起，卡槽与凸起相吻合，通过卡槽与凸起的固定来调节撑衣杆的角度。使用时，根据衣服的大小滑动支撑杆，将支撑杆上的凸起卡在撑衣杆卡槽的适当位置，从而固定撑衣杆的角度，便于悬挂衣服。
