本实用新型的一种便捷指南针，包括一个圆盒体，其主要特征在于所述的圆盒体内设有一根磁性针，而在磁性针中间设有一个小凹点，在圆盒体的外侧设有一根普通的缝衣针。 
本实用新型具有结构简单，使用安全方便，在人们外出探险时，只要将圆盒体外侧的缝衣针放入磁性针中间的小凹点上，由于磁性针具有指示方向的性能，人们可以根据磁性针头来辨别方向。
