随着社会的发展，物质产品得到了极大的丰富，人们有了更多的时间和精力来考虑精神文化的提高，因此，越来越多的人开始重视自己周边的生活环境，“美化”、“亮化”、“环保”、“安全”等名称被提到了大众的嘴边。目前，许多城市开始认识到采用仿真树进行美化的优点，其不但彻底地改变了地域和气候对于树种的限制，而且便于管理，无需浇水施肥与额外护理。为此，人们设计了带LED灯的景观树灯，这种景观树灯在接通电源后，叶片上的灯发出多变的色彩，衬托出叶片更加晶莹剔透，色彩斑斓，给人一种赏心悦目的感觉，更为周围环境增添了节日的气氛。现有的LED景观树灯包括底座、树干、树枝与若干LED灯串，树干安装在底座上，树枝安装在树干上，LED灯串固定在树枝上，底座、树干与树枝外设有仿真树皮，LED灯串外接市电电源。现有LED景观树灯底部仿树根结构存在生产工艺复杂、生产效率低、成本高的缺点。
