当起子用于紧固螺钉时，需要向前推挤起柄用力，此时起杆的凸块被推入起柄的后段空腔，后段空腔将凸块卡住，转动起柄时，起杆会和起柄一同转动，紧固螺钉；拆卸螺钉时，先以起杆的凸块在起柄的后段空腔状态松动螺钉，待螺钉松动后，向后拉动起柄，凸块退出后段空腔进入中段空腔，捻动起杆中段的磨毛层，起杆单独转动，轻松的转动螺钉，直至完全拆下螺钉。
通过实施本实用新型，使操作者在拆卸螺钉时，在螺钉松动后，可以单独捻动起杆，提高了拆卸效率。
