本实用新型采用的技术方案是：一种带功率指示功能的插座，包括插座本体、显示屏、控制器，显示屏安装在插座本体外表面上；控制器安装在插座本体内，并与显示屏连接；控制器与插座电源总线连接；所述控制器内设有功率监测芯片。
本实用新型的工作原理是：通过控制器内的功率监测芯片对插头输出进行监测，并将监测结果送至显示屏显示。
