以奶粉喂养在婴幼儿哺育中占有相当的比重。奶粉以50℃的温开水冲沏，39℃喂奶为宜。这样既不破坏营养成份，又凉热适宜，但由此而来的是，每次冲沏时都要将凉开水或开水进行加热或降温处理；冲沏奶粉过程中，大人们紧张忙碌，不能够及时的使奶到达适宜温度，婴幼儿仍常因不能及时喝上奶而大声哭闹，更是忙中添乱。特别是在夜间，这种费时、费事的冲沏过程挤占了大量睡眠时间，使父母倍感身心疲惫同时，婴幼儿的哭闹也干扰四邻休息，故必须设法解决奶粉冲沏麻烦的问题。

结构简单，使用方便，通过外壶盖上的刻度表，可以准确的加入热水的计量，壶体和内胆空间内的冷却水对内胆内的热水进行冷却，通过探针式温度计直接观测内胆内热水的实时温度，达到冲奶的最佳温度时放入奶粉，并摇晃整体冲奶壶，使奶在最短的时间内融化并达到最适宜的温度，方便了照顾幼儿。

如图所示，该装置包括壶体1，内胆2，壶嘴3，外壶盖4，探针式温度计5，内胆盖6，注水口7，凸槽8，倒奶槽9。
一种快速冲奶壶，包括壶体1、内胆2、内胆盖6、外壶盖4和探针式温度计5，家长在给幼儿冲奶粉时，预先把冷却水或常温水通过注水口7加入壶体1空间待用，将热水通过外壶盖4上的刻度表来进行测量，并倒入内胆2，把内胆盖6盖上，由于内胆2上有凸槽8增加了内胆2的表面积，可以使内胆2内热水温度快速下降，通过探针式温度计5对内胆2内的热水实时测量，待到适宜冲奶温度时，将内胆盖6打开并放入奶粉，再盖上内胆盖6后整体进行摇晃，把奶粉充分溶化；等奶水的温度达到最佳喂奶温度时可以倒入奶瓶，由于内胆2上有倒奶槽9，可以将内胆2的奶水通过壶嘴3全部都倒出，不会有奶留在凸槽8中，这样使奶水在最短的时间内达到最适宜的温度，方便了照顾幼儿。
