本实用新型的目的是提供一种健身器具，其具有传统健身球的特征，并且可以针对某些病症的治疗进行保健治疗。
具体而言，本实用新型采用以下的技术方案：一种健身器具，包括金属球和塑料外壳，在金属球和塑料外壳之间夹有中药层，在中药层内均匀设置多个球状体，在塑料外壳上均匀设置多个通气孔，塑料外壳为两个半球壳以螺纹旋转扣紧构成。
在中药层内均匀设置多个球状体的目的是保持金属球处于塑料外壳的中心位置。在塑料外壳上均匀的设多个通气孔以利于药性的挥发散出，作用于手掌穴位。将中药加入塑料外壳内，中药可以选用挥发性的中药材。针对不同病症，可以选用不同的中药，以防止不同种类的疾病。
相比现有技术，本实用新型的健身器具结构简单、实用，设计巧妙，将传统健身球结合中药药疗的功能，选用不同中药便可防治不同的疾病。
