在偏远的郊外或农村地区，在没有机械抽水设备的情况下，播种、移栽或灌溉农作物等生产活动用水时往往需要人工从较深的水塘去提水，由于水塘离岸较深，人工提水时非常费力，劳动效率低，而且岸边陡峭、地面湿滑，比较危险。

本实用新型的有益效果是：由于设置了支撑杠杆，提水时省时省力，劳动效率大大提高；载人平台的设置使操作人员更为安全。

如图1，该种提水装置，由两根垂直固定在岸边的立杆和连接在两立杆之间的横杆组成提水支杆1，支撑杠杆2的中部经由铰接点4而铰接在提水支杆的横杆上，支撑杠杆2的一端铰接提水杆6，所述的提水杆6连接水桶7，支撑杠杆的另一端固定有配重块3，在支撑杠杆的下方设有与提水支杆连接载人平台5。需要提水时，人站在载人平台5上，向下拉动提水杆6，缓慢将水桶放入水中，水桶灌满水后慢慢松手，在配重块3的作用下，支撑杠杆的该配置端下降，带动提水杆上升，水桶就慢慢被提上来，省时省力，劳动效率大大提高。
