市场上常见的纸篓一般仅包括一个网状的纸篓本体，使用时将垃圾袋套入纸篓本体中，即可盛装垃圾废纸等。但是如果使用的垃圾袋较轻薄，当较大风力吹动时，垃圾袋就极容易由一边飘起形成自封或扭曲，不仅影响美观，也不方便扔垃圾。
