本实用新型涉及一种连接两个有源器件以传输电流的电连接器,特别是一种能在易燃易爆危险区域内使用的防爆电连接器。
背景技术
目前,公知的电连接器均为普通型,或为高电压低电流型,因而不能使用在易燃易爆的危险区域内。
发明内容
本实用新型所要解决的技术问题是,针对现有技术不足,提供一种具有防爆功能的防爆电连接器。
为解决上述技术问题,本实用新型所采用的技术方案是:一种防爆电连接器,其包括一电连接器,该电连接器包括一公接触端及一母接触端,该公接触端的外面设置由隔爆材料制成的公头,该母接触端的外面设置由隔爆材料制成的母头,且该公头的一端伸出公接触端一距离,该母头插入公头,使公头和母头形成一隔爆腔体。
该公头和母头的连接处外侧设有锁紧螺母。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型所具有的有益效果为:本实用新型在电连接器的公接触端外面设置公头,母接触端外面设置母头,且母头插入公头,使公头和母头形成一隔爆腔体,使电连接器的公接触端与母接触端连接可能产生火花的部分密封在隔爆腔体内,使其所产生的火花无法传播至外界,切断引燃源,从而达到在危险区域使用的目的。同时该公头和母头的连接处外侧设有锁紧螺母锁紧,可防止本实用新型在工作过程中松动而影响隔爆性能。

具体实施方式
如图1所示,本实用新型防爆电连接器包括一电连接器5,该电连接器5包括一公接触端51及一母接触端52,该公接触端51的外面设置公头1,该母接触端52的外面设置母头3,且该公头1的一端伸出公接触端51一距离,该母头3插入公头1,该公头1和母头3都是由隔爆材料制成,使公头1和母头3形成一隔爆腔体,使隔爆腔体内部的火花无法传递至外界。该公头1和母头3的连接处外侧还设有锁紧螺母2锁紧,以防止本实用新型在工作过程中松动而影响隔爆性能。

1.一种防爆电连接器,其包括一电连接器,该电连接器包括一公接触端及一母接触端,其特征在于,该公接触端的外面设置由隔爆材料制成的公头,该母接触端的外面设置由隔爆材料制成的母头,且该公头的一端伸出公接触端一距离,该母头插入公头,使公头和母头形成一隔爆腔体。
2.根据权利要求1所述的防爆电连接器,其特征在于,该公头和母头的连接处外侧设有锁紧螺母。
