现在,随着生活水平的提高，钢琴不再是只属于音乐家的，而是开始走入千家万户，越来越普遍。钢琴中的背架是整个钢琴中的重要部分，它影响着整个钢琴的音质以及整个钢琴的外形。原有的钢琴由于各种原因，它的背架是有多条木板通过榫头等连接组装而成的，木板于木板之间留有较大的空隙，这种结构的背架由于是组装而成，在使用的过程中钢琴所发出的音质不稳定，所以使得在使用中整音次数多，比较麻烦，且比较容易损耗钢琴。同时由于背架是要受拉力的，原有的背架是有不同的木板组装成的，这就使得背架使用时间久了很容易发生变形，不仅仅影响整个钢琴的外形美观，还会减少钢琴的使用寿命。
