如图1所示一种笔筒，笔筒靠近底部安装有一块有多个直径小于铅笔的圆孔的隔板1。在铅笔笔尖向下放置时，笔尖穿过隔板1上圆孔，由于圆孔直接小于铅笔直径，圆孔仅笔尖可以通过，笔尖穿过圆孔后不直接接触笔筒底部，从而防止笔尖折断。
