目前，电动自行车及电动摩托车已进入千家万户，人们在生活当中经常会给电动自行车及电动摩托车充电，但常常因为忙于工作，在充满电的情况下而长时间忘记切断电源，致使电动自行车及电动摩托车的电池鼓胀而使电池彻底损坏或减少电池的使用寿命，这给人们造成了不必要的损失，同时也不利于环保。

为了克服上述之不足，本实用新型提出一种定时断电功能的充电器。
一种定时断电功能的充电器，它是由充电器1组成，其特征在于：在充电器1上安装有定时器2，定时器2为机械式定时器。
本实用新型与现有充电相比，可以人为设定充电时间，充电定时时间一到，充电器会自动切断交流输入电源，保护充电器，节约电能，同时又防止电池过量充电而损坏电池。
