目前在将内置钢板从患者体内取出时，需要先将其上的骨钉取下，可愈合后的伤口处骨钉的取出并不是那么容易，现有技术中，往往都是用螺丝刀插在骨钉钉帽的钉槽内，慢慢旋转直至将其取出，这种办法不仅操作麻烦，费时费力，而且当钉槽不慎被磨损破坏时，骨钉就很难取出了。
