为了解决现有插座在夜间光线较暗时不容易插入的问题，本实用新型提供一种新型插座。可以很方便的使插头插进插座。
本实用新型解决其技术问题所采用的技术方案是：在普通插座的插孔区的周围设置一定大小的表面光滑的环形槽。这样便可以达到插头即便没有插到插孔处，也会由光滑的环形槽滑到插孔处的目的。
本实用新型与现有的技术相比：能够使插头方便的插入插座，同时结构较为简单，容易实现。
