现有的平动式住宅窗，包括窗框，窗扇，导轨，窗扣，窗扣只有在各窗扇处于全展状态时才能发挥作用，而为通风计，住宅窗得有局部开启，但这时窗扣不能发挥作用，盗贼容易侵入。

图1所示，本实用新型一种平动式住宅窗，包括窗框1，内窗扇2，外窗扇3，导轨4，所述内窗扇2在离窗开启部5之远端边框上设置有螺纹式夹紧机构6。
所述螺纹式夹紧机构6由嵌于所述内窗扇2边框上的内螺纹管和外螺纹杆构成。将外螺纹杆深入至顶压所述外窗扇3，则必也同时反向顶压所述导轨4，这时所述内窗扇2与所述外窗扇3间及两者与所述导轨4间的相对平动不能，如使住宅窗开启部5维持在阻止盗贼侵入的状态，只需住宅窗开启部5之总宽度小于人体头部的宽度即可，如图2所示。
